On offense I'd cut Levitre and replace him with either Cardinals free agent Paul Fanaika or the Bengals Clint Boling,.

Id also cut Michael Oher and offer Michael Roos that job.

Defense Id use our top pick on an OLB, then 2nd round BPA

DB's need to be addressed as well, but not sure how. Revis is a FA LOL, as if he'd play for us.. So maybe draft a CB early.

Our problems would be solved if we drafted better. But that goes for most all the teams in the NFL. It's about recognizing value.

Jake Locker was a huge mistake, and one that our FO should've recognized early on. He just wasn't good at Washington (look up his stats against good opponents), and no amount of coaching can fix a player that bad. Could've traded down and picked up Dalton.

Or see 2012, we pick Kendall Wright - a good WR but no outside threat/playmaker/true #1 WR - and no qb... meanwhile, Russell Wilson and Nick Foles get drafted in the 3rd round.

Or... trade a pick for Ryan Nassib.

Edit: Or trade for Mike Glennon.

People, we will not draft a QB with our first pick this year! Get the idea out of your heads. It's not happening. We will end up with a Top 4 pick, probably 2nd overall. You do not draft a QB at that spot unless he is projected to be the next Peyton Manning/Andrew Luck (dang the Colts and their luck/timing with QB). I'm sorry but there are ZERO sure fire QBs in this draft. Don't get me wrong, they have talent, but each comes with some potentially big red flags. We are rolling with Mett as our QB next year.

Guess what, if he doesn't pan out next year as our starter, we are going to be picking Top 5 again in 2016 and will take a QB then.

This is just spur of the moment, haven't had time to completely think it through. But off the top of my head this is what I'd do.

Sign: Iupati, Bulaga, Spikes, Houston, Cobb

Draft: Trade back in the draft, get at least a #1 next year and a #2 this year

    1st: Danny Shelton NT/DT
    2nd: Todd Gurley RB
    2nd: Eric Striker OLB
    3rd: Dorial Green Beckham WR

We may not have enough money to sign all those FAs, but I'd at least try to make it work. We have to sign a lot of players in FA this year because of how many holes we have and we will have money to spend.

I don't like having to go RB in the 2nd round two years in a row but with Gurley staring us in the face we have to pull the trigger. Shelton would really help our run defense and Striker is really quick off the edge. With Houston playing the other OLB position teams may key in on him and leave Striker 1 on 1 and I think he can win those matchups. DGB is a great receiver, just got into some trouble in college. A 1st round talent whose off the field issues cause him to drop. He gives us that big-bodied WR we've been needing.

Also, this is all assuming we roll with Mett. Even if Mett sucks next year, in this scenario we have 2, #1 picks we can use to move up and target a rookie QB in 2016 who will be more successful behind the rebuilt o-line and a defense that can actually get off the field.

Todd Gurley tore his ACL and has been out for weeks.

Warmack is having enough difficulty blocking the right side, why would we want to put him on the left side against better pass rushing DT's?

After seeing Sunday's disaster, I'm not sure first, Gurley makes into rnd 2 and whether we can afford to take him.

Also, Striker is 6'0 which is very short for a LB and REALLY short for an 3-4 OLB and he's only listed at 220lbs. He can not play 3-4 OLB at that size. He could play Will in a 4-3 or a hybrid SS cover LB type but he's not a good option if you want him as a 3-4 OLB to rush the passer IMO.

I'll be shocked if DGB makes it into rnd 3 considering his talent and size is in the neighborhood of AJ Green. I think he goes in rnd 1 but could drop into rnd 2 because of his issues and WR talent in this draft.

And that's the reason he is going to fall out of the 1st round. Mettenberger was throwing at his pro day 7 weeks after his ACL surgery. If he's a quick healer, Gurley could be ready, at least by training camp.

Nowadays with RBs, Gurley may last til the 3-4th rounds.

You may be right. As I said, that was just off the top of my head. I might research and try to come up with something different.

Even at that size, I really like Striker. He was a beast rushing the passer in the games I saw him in. Doesn't play like a small guy.
