Been in Atlanta all weekend because you know SEC Championship. Friday night when I flipped on the TV at the hotel I thought based off the size of the players I was watching some local high school football game but it turned out to be Arizona vs Oregon. Not really sure how Arizona made it that far and despite the score wasn't really impressed with Oregon. I actually think FSU will cover the spread and maybe even win.

As for Bama, it's a pretty nice match up. I've seen Ohio St a little bit this year but the lack of film on Jones is a bit worrisome. He seems like a guy that stays in the pocket instead of rolling outside so our front 4 should do the trick. Ohio St has a pretty good DL but our pass protection is top notch. They should cancel each other out. I have Bama by 10, maybe 17 if you want to throw in a garbage TD at the end (probably by Derrick Henry).

As for Bama's weaknesses. The deep ball is definitely a little concerning after the past couple of weeks. Against Auburn, Jackson was torched but Sylve stepped in and did a good job. Last night, our CBs actually did a good job but it was our "star position" player in Geno Smith getting abused. One of the plays was a blatant OPI call that the refs missed but oh well. Thing about those plays is Mauk put the ball where he had to while escaping a sack and extending the play. I wonder if Jones will be able to do this. Again, a month to prepare. The Tide will get back to hopefully 100% health wise.

Now if you'll excuse me, I had a bit too much rum this weekend and will be passing out now.

For the first time in about 18 months FSU will be playing with house money. It's an odd feeling.

Getting OSU in the draw is worrying me more and more. They could be the most complete team in the playoffs. Definitely more complete than FSU or Oregon. Just think if Winston or Mariotta went out... game over for both teams. But, OSU survived and thrived with two QBs going out.

Should be one heck of a game. Can't wait for the New Year! Roll Tide!!!

So, @DeeT04 , you don't believe OSU is, possibly, the most complete team in the playoffs? Interesting. Care to share why?

    None taken. My mistake.

I forgot that this is the thread where we don't actually talk about college football.
