munchak had no direction, the team went where they went based on average talent, which at best lands you around 8-8.

but whiz does have a plan, he just needs to commit to the right roster, which we evidently didnt have this year

What rookies FIT his style? Lewan fits all styles. Maybe Mett but he's hardly a sure thing. Sankey doesn't fit a particular style. Williamson doesn't fit a particular style. About the only thing I would say is stylistic are the pass catching TE's like Coffman we brought in, Phillips at OLB, Woodyard at ILB. Coffman is doing what you'd expect, Phillips underperformed and Woodyard is OK. Huff is a tweener that fits a backup role as a backup CB/S and special teams player. Has he even had a start? How about McCluster being brought in to be a system player...how has that worked out? He's a non-factor and he should be killing teams!!! Wright is another talent being wasted because for some reason we can't game plan to get our playmakers and mismatches the ball. When Whiz came he said this was a mismatch offense. I haven't seen it. If he wants to see a mismatch offense he should watch me play Madden!!!

So even when he has brought in his system guys at great cost, he can't figure out how to use them! McCluster is a great example of that and why this we just need more system guys is baloney with cheese!

The ONLY argument I'll buy about system players is at OLB and NT but not on our offense! And our offense is the biggest problem!!!

The problem is, first it's because the roster is bad which you have to backtrack off of because our poor Munchak got to 7-9 with them. So if we start with an avg roster and add to it with Whiz's system guys in free agency AND via the draft...how do you have a 2 win team?

Coaching is the only answer my friend...and you know it!

I understand rebuilding/reloading. I'm fine with tossing the season to find what our younger players can do and seeing if Mett is the answer going forward. But vet players have regressed, young players...even his system guys are being misused.

Walker is a good player having a big year BECAUSE this is a TE friendly offense and I thought he was under utilized last season. He is a feature of this offense and it has showed. But where is Wright? Where is McCluster?

Wright has a slightly HIGHER avg this year but avging about 15 FEWER yards per game which means we aren't getting him the ball and I can guarantee his targets are way down. If this is a match up offense, we should be getting him mismatched against someone and getting him the ball. We aren't. Wright is as good as Antonio brown and Emmanual Sanders. They have a lot more catches, yards and TD's because those teams find mismatches for them to exploit. Even the giants did it to us with rookie Beckham. When was the last time you saw Wright lined up at RB?

How about McCluster? With KC last year he had more than double the catches he has with us (in 2 games less this season) and more than 300yds less thru the air. So KC got a LOT more out of McCluster than we are and they let him go because they weren't getting enough out of him. So we sign him to a big contract only to use him even less? He's a Whiz system guy in his prime and we can't use him correctly! Who has he been mismatched up against? We have run the ball more with him but to little avail. Do we need to be spending on more $6mill/yr players who fit Whiz's system that give us 23 yds of offense a game? And he's been turned into an avg returner which is one of the reasons why we need a new ST coach!

I was all for Whiz coming in to run a matchup offense, have high accountability but I'm not seeing these things! Sure he's chewed out our WR corp, but has Levitre been held accountable for his play? Have his ST coach or OL coach been held accountable for the play of their units? If guys are getting coached up and people are getting better but we are losing due to a breakdown in coverage in the new defense or our rookie QB going thru some growing pains it's the nature of the beast. But when the coach says he's gonna run things this way and he doesn't and doesn't adapt at the expense of the very players he's supposedly trying to play to evaluate them, it's a major problem. And when you're handed the chess pieces you want and don't use them well...that's poor coaching!

Dude, playing young guys and a rookie QB is one thing...but more importantly than getting the first pick in the draft is changing the culture and you can't change the culture by being the worst team in the NFL. If that's the plan then I'm even more concerned. Changing the culture is the hardest thing to do and the best way to do it is with a new regime. look what Rex did with the Jets when he got there. big bravado, brought in his players and they did really well for a couple of years.

Trying to change the culture with the current staff doesn't work as well because the coach talks it up and then you get blown out by a bad team at home. how's that next pepe talk gonna get you a win? Are the players gonna BELIEVE him?

The reality is I doubt the Titans are willing to put even more egg on their face to fire their GM and 1st year HC after declaring they are safe so we will most likely see what Webster and Whiz can do with the keys to the castle.

If Webster is a dumpster diver in free agency and doesn't net us a blockbuster trade in round 1, we will be bad for a long time and if Whiz isn't a million times better than this year, this franchise will be one of the worst for the next few years with a revolving door at QB while Whiz tries to find 'his guy' and Webster does 'all he can' to improve the roster.

If Tommy wants us in the playoffs next year and contending for a SB the year after, BIG MOVES NEED TO BE MADE!!! Big moves in free agency and Big moves in the draft! Then Whiz better do what he came here to do!!!

Okay just wtf is this "system" of his?? It's certainly not the same one Belichick has or even halfassers such as Fisher and Schwartz. What "system" does he have that requires burning all contracts and starting over with his specially chosen players that will miraculously turn the sporting world on its ear with it's miraculous success?

I'm glad I'm no longer the only person who think Whisenhunt will be the worst thing to happen to this franchise since it moved to Nashville.

Also pretty much everyone I know who has PSL's aren't renewing next year if he stays.

Hope Tubby Smith won't mind taking a major loss in his pockets while watching a team win 4 games at most next season.
