If we signed a min vet you would've started 3 threads talking about how cheap the ownership is and who all is selling psls.

Nahh. I actually was excited about the off-season. But I was assuming that Webster was at least average at evaluating talent. I don't have a problem with spending 6 million for a year on an OL-man, provided it works out. My criticism in saying it was a very smart move is that it didn't work out. And my faith in Webster has since been destroyed, so the fact it didn't work out has become clear- because Webster lacks adequate GM skills.

Maybe saying it was a smart move is incorrect way to say it.

I wouldn't say it was a bad contract though, it was a smart contract really either way. Good contract if he worked out as a good player. Good contract since he sucks and we can dump him immediately.

I hope you don't take some of our (my) neutrality or mediocre evaluation of Webster as a ringing endorsement. I just don't think he is the dog **** that you do. But really, I'd like to know exactly how much input he had on player selection (and which players) prior to becoming the GM.

Since it's clear Webster will be at the helm of our next draft (at least) - I'm really curious to see what second year under whiz' guidance does for this team.

Yes this has been a cluster. No it's not looking good. I talked to a rams fan that believes fisher turned them around. I don't think Webster has been the sole decision maker in drafts. Locker was the offensive coordinators pick. Whatever that idiots name was I tend to forget. Warmack was munches pick. Wright was the midget QB coaches pick...

Lewan? True foresight by web or whiz? Could be either way.. Sankey was whiz's pick without a doubt.

Warmack's switch needs to not only be on, it needs to be cranked waaaaaaay up to justify his draft position and past play.

Or... Warmack's improved play is due to defenses knowing they have options with who to go through to kill our QB or RB.

    PFF ****ing sucks

it is horribly inaccurate. Chances are, with some digging, you can find them giving Warmack an overall negative grade somewhere.

Saying that I should continue watching because of our right guard, is about like saying I should watch because Brett Kern is having a hell of a year.

That sentence is a paradox in my brain.
