I was gonna use Hill Country Fair which is the HEB generic things.

But I forgot HEB only exist in Texas.

 

I would love an owner that acted like that. Would need to change team name to spice.

I told you guys Sankey sucks. He's a 3 yard and fall down RB. He breaks no tackles and he isn't fast. He does everything ok. You don't draft a guy with no elite attributes in the second rd especially at RB when every single draftable RB is in play. We're going to need another RB this draft. Ideally though you should take a RB in every draft at some point given their shelf life.

 

As usual, the debate here has turned completely black and white. Either you think Bishop Sankey is awful or you think he's a budding superstar.

The reality is that he is in between. He hasn't been awful by any stretch, but he hasn't been particularly special. The more important questions are 1) was he worth using a second-round pick on?; and 2) should he have been drafted ahead of all the other rookie running backs?

I would suggest the answer to both is no.

 

if KW and Horton could keep a few games competitive then possibly Sankey could get 20+ carries a time or 2

 

We already have a good idea this is statement is not going to end up true. Griffin has been BAD this year. He has had a few nice plays this year, but for the majority BAD. He misses more tackles than most, takes horrible angles that a vet FS should know better than taking, & he is in the wrong place too often. Yet he has been consistently praised by the HC & Owner as a guy making plays & tough. I can't deny he came back & played after being injured. However, being tough is also about taking a guy down when you get your arms around them. Not letting a RB plain ole STREAMROLL your ass. I will never forget MJD running him over a year or so ago. It looked real bad.

IMO he should be one of the guys on the block, but by the statements they are making he will be around for a long time collecting a bloated $8 million a year!!!

 

Sucks we didn't pick up Crowell. I really wanted us to target him.
