    I don't think that's true. Source?

But everyone here is right to point out that La Canfora doesn't exactly have a stellar track record of breaking news.

Speculation that the Adams family "might" sell the franchise are bad for the franchise.

Don't see how an ownership group that can be bought is good for current culture.

So either sell it now this offseason or immediately refute any rumor and be a longterm owner.

You have to think that if Peyton were to own it. He would eventually bring in Eli for some desk job, and beyond that others would want to flock to Tenn.

I'm down because Peyton is wise when it comes to Football and his appeal will bring others here.

If Peyton wants to own it, **** him, he should've signed here and be playing here with ownership as part of the deal like he was offered.

But I'd rather him own it than the team move.

Peyton doesn't have near the capital required to purchase an NFL team. He would have to get other investors.

All of the people mentioned have current ownership ties to other teams. How often do people ditch their team to buy in to another team? Especially a sad franchise like the Titans when the value is reportedly high. Doesn't make much sense to me to ditch a ownership role and invest more money in a franchise that's been terrible for 15 years.

Team is worth like $1.2 billion.

    Probably could get double that?

Manning has been involved in some SB winning franchises and has connections in those organization's trees. He puts in the work and expects results.

I'd have confidence that he could change the culture if he were involved in the role(s) they described in the article. Titans would get some juice back. Although it is a real possibility, I wouldn't be surprised if current management is just floating a rumor to keep our flat-lined fanbase tuned in.
