I looked at the Walter Football site and their '16 mock that was done end of November. They had 4 QB's as first rounders...

Cook - I like him, don't love him.
Dak Prescott - can't see him as an NFL franchise quarterback
Hackenberg - He was awful this year. If you have a bad OL, he isn't your guy.
Jared Goff - Great numbers, I don't know much else about him.

Hackenberg is the top guy for next year, still don't know why he went to Penn St.

Couple nights ago I said trade down and get more picks but after thinking about it I think we should keep it.

Titans have been a bad team for a while and have a severe lack of talent. Trading back to add more picks (bodies) isn't going to change a whole lot if we don't nail those picks. Webster has been hit and miss, so the higher the pick the better chance we have at not screwing it up. The dream draft scenario is to always trade down, which in theory is great, but it doesn't always go well. Sometimes you pass on a really good player and select a couple of duds. Hopefully our scouting department delivers this year.

Also, I am so tired of the mediocrity. The franchise really needs to select someone that can actually bring some excitement back to Nashville. I would say we're the joke of the NFL but we're not because fans even forget that we're a team. Sorry to dampen the mood on this Saturday night but it's true.

Give me Amari Cooper on offense or Randy Gregory/Leonard Willams on defense. Don't trade down, get a franchise changer. Then actually sign some good free agents and let's turn this thing around.

Based on what? His 5 star rating from high school?

I've seen him play a bit so it's just my opinion. His team is trash this year so not really surprised that his stats are lacking.

Fair enough. Good arm strength, average accuracy, below average vision, no mobility. Similar to Stafford, if he improves his vision.

I'm a huge Penn State fan. Hack was decent last year under O'Brien, but most of his big plays were circus catches by Allen Robinson or just good playcalls. He really isn't that accurate. And he forces throws.

He needs to improve a LOT.

    thanks.

I'll try and watch some of his games over break. I've missed a lot of college football this year. Gotta get ready for draft season coming up.

OK, question for my knowledgeable goT peeps.

I read rumors on another site that even if the Titans and Bucs both lose out, the Titans would move ahead of the Bucs in the draft order because TB has the Packers and Saints left which would increase their strength of schedule. I'm not sure how all of that works, but can any of you guys confirm or deny that?

I believe it's strength of schedule but considering Tampa plays in the NFC South I would assume both teams are pretty close in the rankings. If somehow it's a tie then it goes to conference record.
