I wonder if we will win next week? We will definitely lose to Indy.

The Bucs lost today and still have Green Bay and the Saints so they are certain to be a two win team.

If we can somehow figure out a way to lose in Jacksonville .. we could end up with the #2 pick right? We could trade that for quite a bit!

The Pats, Packers, Ravens have had very few if any high draft picks in the last decade or so. They still put competitive teams on the field. Draft pick position is not even close to a guarantee of success. I think we should be more worried about who is evaluating these picks rather than where we will be picking them. Sure, I would love to trade down for picks but we've reached for potential talent for years.

With that in mind I can't justify wanting my team, something I very passionate about, to lose. It feels dirty and in no way guarantees success in the future.

We only get 16 of these a year. They are all important no matter how crappy our team is playing. After the next couple weeks there will be no more Titans football, just basketball (gross) then baseball (double gross). A lot of us spend all year looking forward to this and want to win no matter how lost the season is. It's the principal my friend, at least for me it is.

I was thinking the same thing earlier. I feel bad for Jake.. he really has no business in the NFL.

I wonder if he could still have a career in baseball if he switched now

So to me it was clear after also watching most of the Texans game today that defense is priority #1 followed by the O line this off season. Today the Texans were in this game till the end with Tom Savage as there QB because there defense was able to shut down a high powered Indy offense. Mett behind an O line like that and solid D = good things. Not hoping to draft a QB with the top pic... Just my opinion

Mett is not a franchise qb period. Do we need everything? Yes including a qb and a coach

I'll tell you about sucking. When your team is willing to suck for a duck who sucks, well that just sucks. So what you end up doing is sucking for no suckin reason. I'm so suckin tired of this suckin team!!!! At least for once they lost correctly. By accident probably.

My reaction was "what the heck is everyone going nuts about?" since I was on my way out of the stadium when it happened. I made it back to the endzone and caught the replay on the jumbotron. A perfect ending for a perfect game.

Just curious, how was turnout at the stadium yesterday? The network really tried to limit shots of the crowd, and the announcers made a couple of snide comments about lack of a crowd. Based on the few shots I got of the crowd I was estimating about 1/3 to 1/2 capacity....what do you think?

    This is a bit shortsighted.

The Pats and Packers struck gold with late round picks. If GMs were issued the ability to see into the future, what pick do you think Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers would have wound up being? Or even Eddie Lacy?

The Ravens are up and down, but they know who they are. They just focus on defense and try to get whatever offensive FAs they can. They have a clear identity.

Also, all three organizations have top quality coaches. I mean, look at Akeem Ayers. Here, he was hardly used and the coaches were fine with letting him go for peanuts because he couldn't play. At NE, he's made some pretty major plays for them and has made us look like morons in that trade (which, Webster is a moron so...).

We've invested poorly in FA and we've picked even worse in the drafts. Tommy Boy needs to just clean house and start over next season, but he won't, so at this point all we can do is hope we get a draft pick that's so high that it's almost impossible to miss on it, because that's all we've done for the past however many years.
