I live in Ohio so the team moving wouldn't be a dealbreaker for me but I like being able to make a yearly trip going to see my team play. If they moved to LA it would be almost impossible for me to do this because I'm currently in college and don't have the funds to make that happen. If they moved to London I'd likely switch teams for sure... but like someone else had said, LP fields lease lasts until 2028 so no worries.

My company headquarters are in Portland....the place is too small, and too close to Seattle. I really do not see the NFL going there.

I lived in Missouri (originally from there) and was a Cardinal fan (followed the Oilers as a "mistress" team) when they left. I went through several stages of grief/pissed off. For a few years I really did not watch a lot of football (did watch Warren Moon and the Oilers when they were on TV in my area). I was living in middle Tennessee when talk of the Oilers coming to Nashville started, and then they drafted McNair, which hooked me. When they did move I was all in.

If the Titans leave I will keep an eye on them as a curiosity (much as I still do with the Cardinals), but I will stop going out of my way to watch them.

I think I'd be done with the NFL if the team moved. I'd probably try to follow for a while, but it'd be tough without watching the games.

I always dreamed of an NFL team in TN as a kid, so I was SOO happy when the team moved here.

They are known for their over the top extravagant strip clubs. More so than Atl or Houston.

I used to live near Atl. Those strip clubs...I've heard awful things.

That is why i'm so surprised people on here would stop following. I wouldn't think you join a forum and take time to discuss a team if you didn't really like them.

It is certainly easier for me because I have no ties to Houston or Tenn. I became a fan back in 98. Picked for life!

To be fair... most of those Houstonians grew up Oiler fans or their parents did.

How long were they in Houston versus how long in Tennessee?

    Another big difference.

I don't currently like them.. But I joined in 2005, when I cared. I stay because I've been doing this for about a decade now.

I know this may sound bad, but I'm a Titans fan because they are Tennessee's team, not because I have some deep emotional tie to the players or coaches. If they leave the state, I doubt I will be a fan of theirs anymore.

I know it's not the case for many on this board, but I love this state. It's how I can be a huge fan of the Vols and the Titans. It's how I can still root for players that played at Tennessee but not for the Titans. Or former Titans if they still have roots here in Tennessee and did a lot for the community. I wasn't an Oilers fan and I won't be a fan of whatever this team becomes if they leave.

But as long as they are here with us, I hardly miss a game and buy their merchandise. Cause they combine two things I love, Tennessee and Football. I pray they never leave.
