Calling My Shot

I don't like Winston, but the character issues crap annoys me. As far I know, there's 3 things that "raise the red flag":

- Sexual assault charge
- Shoplifting crab legs
- Vulgar language in the student union

I'll start with the crab legs/vulgar language. Seriously, that's some pety crap. You can blame that on ESPN and the media, never should of been a store. He's apologized for the crab legs and said it was mistake blah blah blah. The dude went into the store, shopped, and forgot to check out and walked out with $30.00 of groceries. Seriously, who cares.. dude was 20 years old and forgot. I'm sure i've stolen more from the damn secret rack underneath a shopping cart. The vulgar language incident was him saying "f**k her right in the pu**y", which if you've been living under a rock is an internet sensation. Both these things point to maybe immaturity, but hello he was born in 1994. My younger brother is older than him, which just blows me mind.

The sexual assault charge is a little more serious. Bottom line: he wasn't charged. So he's not guilty, move on! Winston & the girl were at a bar, drinking, and then they went home and got it on. Isn't that why we all go to bars during college? Jameis and the girl have admitted to having sex before, so obviously there was some type of relationship there. The woman reported he raped her, then the police closed the case like 60 days later without obtaining a DNA sample or interview Jameis. A witness said he "videotaped" the encounter, weird... why wouldn't you stop "rape" if you were witnessing it. However, the videotape was unavailable during trial. His DNA was found on her panties, well **** if they're both drunk they likely did fool around. This sounds rude, but just an assumption... she slept with Jameis, he moved on, she got jealous... charges filed. (No proof to that, just what I assume). The police did do an awful job investigating.

Bottom line: The media has been abusing Jameis. He's a big name player on a championship team, any little thing is blown up. He does seem a big immature, which most kids his age are. He's physically near perfect, has a strong arm, but has a longer release, inconsistent accuracy, stares down targets, but can be clutch at the end of games. Sounds like Vince Young.

I like Jameis, but not at #2. Give me Leonard Williams or Shane Ray.

 

look passed character issues, the best NFL players have character issues, hell, all our best players have had character issues. I truly do not care at all for how a guy acts of on his own Monday-Friday, wins on sunday are all that matter

I'm less concerned about the character issues and more concerned with the INT'S and erratic play. I don't even take the other stuff into consideration.

That being said, draft defense for the love of god.

 

Ah yes the VY year was pretty crazy. There was even some support for Cutler because of him being from Nashville as well.

 

Maybe he is confused and talking about Nascar and the Winston Cup?

So what your saying is if Winston never suited up this year they would still be undefeated?
