well sure but you know someone out there is going to still drive, at least if youre going to, take it easy. Bishop was caught speeding, if he never speeds he doesn't get pulled over.

Then again, maybe him being stopped saved his life, who knows.

 

one of my dumb#$s friends decided to run a red light at an empty intersection at 3AM. Over the limit. Busted. If you are stupid enough to drive after multiple drinks... Then don't purposely break traffic laws... But driving drunk already shows a lack of sense.

Fighting a DUI, or succumbing to the charges is very expensive.. plus the suspended license is embarrassing, and it would suck to go through all the classes.. It simply isn't worth it. It shows a lack of common sense.. plain and simple.

 

first time DUI offenses cost somewhere between $9,000 and $24,000.

Not to mention luxurious stays at your local county jail, forced AA meetings, and suspended licenses.. And that's if you DIDN'T harm or kill anyone else.

It's plain stupid, even if you completely disregard the ethics of it.

just curious, where'd you get those figures of $9k and $24k.... Ive been in some sticky situations related to traffic laws, and I spent nowhere near $9K to get out of it, but I also wasn't charged with a DUI

DUI is a whole different ballgame,than your run of the mill traffic offenses. They make tons of profit from offenders. It's a cash cow.

 

I tailed a cop for 12 miles doing 109 to a call, then tried running when he tried pulling me over. Cost me about $1400
