In doing further research it does appear that you count each division teams record twice.

Also besides the Rams vs. Giants which would help us and hurt the Bucs if the Rams won. The other game that has double impact this week is the Steelers vs. Chiefs. We want the Steelers to win that game which would improve the Bucs SOS while a KC lose weakens ours.

I'd expect the Texans to be looking for a QB. Doubt they'd trade with us but they're in need, as much, if not more than us.

True, bu if we had the #2 and TB took Mariota, that leaves Winston as the best QB left (from hype anyway). If there's a team that wants him, they may be willing to give some up to get him. Of course it depends on what the FA wants to do, but having a top 2 pick is important to the off season IMO.

If we beat the Jags on Thursday I'll be furious. Every year this team seems to suck, and they always ruin they're draft pick when the games don't matter.

I think someone already asked this at some point, but...

With strength of schedule, is it accounting for the entire team's schedule or only games played up until now?

The Bucs strength of schedule is currently .482. Ours is currently .491.

I am hoping that our final two games have not been accounted for by SoS yet, but I'm not sure. Our final two opponents have a current combined record of 12-16, while the Bucs final two opponents have a current combined record of 16-12.

This has no chance in happening...Mark my words...The Titans in typical Titan football is going to beat the Jaguars, and defeat the Colts who will be resting their starters in Week 17! lol

I am looking at our schedule versus the Bucs, and I'm having a hard time seeing a scenario in which we get the #1 pick over them... unless they lose.

If both teams finish 2-14, they have a much better chance of getting the #1 pick. I'm gonna keep looking into other scenarios, but it seems pretty unlikely we get 1st pick even if we lose out.

This is a different year... in the past, we couldn't even suck properly. It seems like we get it this year.

Whiz told Delanie before that final play... if you get close to scoring don't pitch it back. Just lose, baby.

We've come this far... 2-12. Can't blow it now. Would be tragic.

You are right I forgot to move everyone else up in the event we lost the 2nd pick. My bad. In this case, I am glad to be wrong. However, I really hope we lose out and get that #1 pick!!

According to an article I read somewhere (I will try to find it & post a link) if we lose out & Tampa does too we will get the #1 pick. Somehow their SOS will be stronger than ours. I will look for it.

    1. Tampa Bay, 2-12
    2. Tennessee, 2-12
    3. Jacksonville, 2-12
    4. Oakland, 2-12
    5. Washington, 3-11
    6. NY Jets, 3-11
    7. Atlanta, 5-9
    8. NY Giants, 5-9
    9. New Orleans, 5-8
    10. Chicago, 5-8
