Dungy is a good guy and he's underrated as a coach... go back and look at his success with Tampa. Gruden won with his team. Just like Tomlin won with Cowher's team.

It wasn't all Peyton... Peyton didn't sniff a Super Bowl before Dungy came in.

But I really really hate that he's one of these guys refusing to call the Redskins by their name... He called them the Redskins his entire life, then all the sudden decided to be offended and stop.

Anyways, I'll stop now as I don't want to get this pushed to Taboo.

He's dead on that EVERYTHING about the NFL is having a top 12 QB. Some teams can overcome having a QB in the middle of the pack but that has to paired with a dominating defense.

What I disagree with is that you pull the trigger because QBs are now cheaper and you can get another in four years. During those four years, you might miss out on the guy who IS the real deal AND fits your system (assuming the Titans are in the position to draft one).

IF they think Mariota is the real deal, and he's available, they have to pull the trigger. I'm personally unconvinced but have only seen him play a handful of times so am keeping an open mind.

I was very iffy with Mariota, but i'm loving him now. Here's a highlight video to watch:

Yes, it's a highlight video and everybody looks good. But it shows he has an elite arm and the ability to get loose in the pocket and make plays. Many times he doesn't look to run, unless he has to. Elite arm and size, supposed elite intelligence, leadership, and work ethic. Puts so much pressure on the D to respect his running ability, but will still burn you with his arm. His eyes are always down field looking to pass, which is different from many scrambling QBs.

What does scare me is how he was always in the gun. I haven't seen him under the center, so it'll be interesting during pro-day and combine time watching him take those snaps. Also, running this gimmick/hurry up offense inflated his stats. We'll need to make some adjustments and turn a little more into the Eagles/49ers/Seahawks playbooks.

I think AT WORST, he's a Colin Kaepernick. Which, this year isn't saying much. Hopefully Mariota can capture the 2013 Kaep for multiple years.

I dont dislike anything Mariota does, but not playing NFL style QB makes it hard to love the idea of us taking him. With that said, if he were to become our QB Id be ok with it, but I just cant say today that I see that happening. He'd certainly make us competitive again, for a while anyways til he gets cracked in half running for his life.

The guy might be similar in some ways to Cam Newton coming out. Not quite as big but 6'4, 220, from a spread offense with plenty of running ability. But also excels as a passer.

It is simply hard to project how these guys will develop. The miss ratio is so high I'm not sure I want any QB with that high of a pick unless their last name starts with Luck or Manning.

Unfortunately for all of this discussion, im betting that we win tomorrow night and will end up picking between 4-6. He will not be there. I will explode if we draft Winston. No one wants him.

If we keep the same O-Line we'll need a QB with wheels

No way that happens with the comments Tommy as made recently. I say we sign Iupati and Bulaga to replace Levitre and Oher. Lewan, Iupati, Schwenke, Warmack, Bulaga. That's a legit line right there.

And they're coming here why? Sure money is cool to have but those guys would be idiots to leave their programs
