Not really... but he's been better than most (and I mean the overwhelming majority of) rookie QBs in league history in his first five starts. Forget being winless. It's obvious the team is poop either way. He would've beaten the Jets and Jags, so I guess it's a blessing in some ways he got hurt.

That said, Cutler has been horrific this season, so being better than him isn't saying much.

That legendary 2006 draft was such a bust. Cutler was the best big name player from that draft, and he sucks.

Mario Williams was good for a good while I guess. Not #1 pick good.

I remember being so sad we didn't get Cutler. I wonder how history would have been different with him on our team the past 8 years.

Anybody think he may be pissing in his own canteen? Just seems like the ship has been on fire for a hot minute now in Chicago. If they cut him, teams will at least have to take a look. Right? Reminds me of the Britt dropsies a little bit. I think Cutler wants out.

700 INTs later we're right where the Bears are today. Not much to wonder about.

At least the Titans wouldn't have had to spend TWO first round picks on him like the Bears did. The most astounding thing about Jay Cutler is there have been three first round picks spent on him. The one the Broncos used to draft him and then the two the Bears traded for him.

I didn't know that. RGIII similarities. Well, minus the 100 plus million contract for 7 years.

This is the one reason why I never complained about the VY pick.

We took a risk, and he didn't pan out. Realistically, there weren't many other options at #3. We'd still suck if we took Cutler or whoever else we had ranked highest behind him.

I remember thinking the Texans were stupid for taking Williams... they made the right pick out of all of the top options, no doubt.

I'm still glad we took VY... since the options weren't all that great, and he left us with some of our most memorable games. So I am thankful for that.

you are correct. Bears will have to cut Cutler cause only a fool would take on that contract.

Nah Rivers laughs, talks trash, and is actually good.

Cutler is smug, sulks, sucks, and stole money.
