You also ignore the fact that he took a Cardinals team that was irrelevant for forever to the Super Bowl.

And in his final season at Arizona, he was 4-0 with Kolb as the starter. Then it all fell apart and he had to deal with bum backups even worse than anything we've had.

Arians took over and got a resurgent Carson Palmer. There's a big difference.

Let's give him at least another season before writing him off.

I guarantee you if the OL was better, we'd have at least 5 more wins. Can't get it done with this crap. He may have taken over a 7-9 team, but he walked into a mess regardless. Can't deny that.

    Blame Webster, not Whiz.

But we would go the distance with Whiz?

We have not had that many injuries on defense yet we are last against the run and could finish last in scoring defense. What is the excuse on defense? I guess that doesn't count.

The Arizona team he had in 2008 was loaded. 6 different players on that defense have made a pro bowl in their careers and that doesn't count Carlos Dansby or Calais Campbell.

They had an elite safety in Adrian Wilson.

    On offense they had Warner-Fitzgerald-Bouldin..

Despite all that talent they were just 9-7 in the regular season.

We can dispense with Whiz the miracle worker line. The hallmark of a bad coach is that he can't even beat other bad teams. We can;t even beat other bad teams.

Fish had to go, both for the Titans and himself. I stopped living in the past a while ago, but living in the present is far worse.

    The excuse on defense?

    1. It sucks
    2. It was not ready for the switch to 3-4

How little McCluster has been used was a cause of concern. He is young, and recently a good player.

Something about that doesn't sit right with me. None of the free agents we brought in this year have contributed meaningfully. If Wiz can't get young, talented players to produce for him, we are in trouble. McCluster should have had a big year.

They also barely snuck in the playoffs at 9-7.

Also, Warner brought in his old playbook and told Whiz to take a seat and pretty much ran the offense himself.

With the cast of characters we currently have (assuming Fisher would have drafted similarly...) I think we would be in the 5 to 7 win range (probably closer to 5 though), and probably would have been more competitive in some of the blowouts. This team would have played to Fisher's strength, which is making a bad team average. Unfortunately, that is also his ceiling, as we found out.

It is always easy to make these kind of comments when we are in the middle of bad times....
