You are failing to grasp...his 2015 is ALREADY GUARANTEED!!! If you get him, you owe him $15.5mil in 2015 and unless you rework the rest of his gagillion dollar deal, it will only get worse. The Bears really messed this up as it will cost them a fortune to trade/cut him or a fortune to keep him.

And if you're Cutler, WHY would you renegotiate your salary. The Bears probably can NOT trade him with the team taking him having to pay him $15.5mil so the Bears would probably have to convert some of that money, say $5.5mil into a SB (giving it to him NOW) in order to reduce his cap number to $10mil next year for a new club. But for the Bears, it's might be the only way to get him out of Chicago. Of course, then Chicago is looking for a new QB...

TRADE with us...not for Cutler but give us all your picks for the next 2 years!

Not sure I want cutler here, but it's not my call. I am positive that mett will be our guy.

I believe we are going D huge in this draft. Our OL will heal before next season, all but levitre who can be replaced in FA.

You guys really believe in a 6th round rookie quarterback who has cronic back problems, acl injury, throwing shoulder injury who can't move in the pocket and holds the ball to long?

If this team kicks off next season with Whisen****, Webster, Tommy Smith, starting Mettenberger or Cutler it will make my decision not to come up for any games or purchase Gamepass again much easier.

Seriously, if they shuffle Mettenturder out there again or even bring in Cutler I'll lose it.

Either fire Whisen****, fire Webster, Smith sell the team or draft someone I'm actually interested in seeing play like Mariota.

I need something to keep my interest at this point.

Mariota may stay in school. Let's stop all this silliness until he at least announces.

in your scenario,I think Cutler makes sense. Let Mett sit begin in a couple years. I'm not a Culter fan but he is better than anyone we have. His attitude scares me and his inconsistencies, as point out by other posters.

If he stays in school then he is a moron and I wouldn't want him next year or ever.

Mariota is entering this draft...Believe that. He knows darn well he is going 1 or 2. Is he worth it? I don't believe so, at least not in TN. That being said, I get wanting a spark here, and they badly need that. I still like the idea of a stud pass rusher and or a GREAT not good WR. Do any of you guys know the likely top 5 talent entering this draft very well?

Again I say....Cutler couldn't do jack with Marshall, Jeffrey, Bennett, Forte, etc...Why in the world do people think that he will come here and "Save the day" with average talent around him?....Like I said, the only upside is that it gives Mett some competition and less overall pressure, while allowing them to go BPA in the top of the draft instead of forcing a QB.
