The absolute only reason I give Whis any kind of pass is because he started throwing players on IR as soon as they had a hangnail. The plan either always was or quickly became to throw this season away; and if tanking exists this is it.

Munch would've done much better record wise this season with this team.

I suspect we will see plenty of changes from this current roster to what we see this time next year. I would bet at least 20-25 different faces.

Don't disagree with this....my issue with Munch is like with Fisher...IMO being competitive and occasionally good is the ceiling with them. I was hopeful (especially after the first game, as you may recall LOL) that Whis was a departure from that. This first season turned out to be a departure all right.....down.

Hopefully (for him anyway) this was due to tanking, for if it is not and I see the same crap next season I will be getting the pitchfork out.

I dont disagree just don't think it will be that high, maybe 12-15. But the problem of under developing, under achieving will still exist, until people "feel comfortable" that they have been fair to whiz and prove this experiment is a failure.
on the bright side we will have plenty to talk about during the off season, nothing to talk about during the season.

    no diggity, no doubt.

Most obvious of tanks this season.. the tank disease always includes many players to the IR, because they no longer want to deal with it, or the coaches think playing this season isn't worth it. Phantom injuries.

The ship sank fast, and there was no turning it around, this season. Might as well go with the flow.

You called it and you were right, but for all the wrong reasons. You mentioned losses like CJ, Verner, Britt, etc as being costly ones. Gotta love how CJ and Verner were also on teams competing for the #1 pick.

Put them all back on our roster and we are still going 2-14.

I said we'd go 2-14 if we lost to the Cowboys... so technically I called it too with your logic.

The difference there is the fact that Chudzinski was only under a 3 year year contract. Whiz is under a 5 year contract. Chud's buyout was much less than what Whiz's would be.

If it does anything to Mett's confidence then he is a baby and I don't want him. The Pats took Garoppolo relatively early in the draft. You think that hurt Brady's feelings? Most teams take a QB at some point in the draft... Unless you are a team with an elite QB, you're going to want to carry 3 QBs. So we will need another one unless we sign one in free agency.

Gotta sack up... it's a business. If we take a QB in the mid-rounds, Mett has enough sense to realize that it's because we only have two QBs on the roster... and Whitehurst is not a long-term option.

I don't give a crap about being fair to whiz...I just know what I see and have seen the last 4-5 years is a far below NFL of talent on this team. Can't polish a turd.
