Eh what was Brady's draft position? I'm not by no means comparing Mett to Brady, but I am saying sometimes players need time to properly develop. Draft position really have no bearring on how well a player eventually plays over the course of their career. All this just to say, albeit a low probability, you never quite know when a player develop the physical tools to succeed or the game just clicks for them. One season really isn't enough time to judge Mett. Hell I remember when Aaron Rodgers was coming out the knock on him was lacked elite arm strength. Now show me someone who still agrees with that?

FTR, I am OK with Cutler coming home (yes, I say home because he lives in Nashville in the offseason). Maybe playing in a smaller market would help him. He's never been too fond of the media. I don't think it'll ever happen. Let me know when one of the National or Titans guys say something about it. Until then, I won't pay this dude any attention.

Also, I am only OK with this if Chicago is willing to pay for some of the contract. If not, well, bye.

The one faint glimmer of hope to every fan base that drafts a late round QB.

Very true, like I said I'm not saying it's highly probable, just that it's possible and only time can tell. I mean the Chargers released Drew Brees to draft Eli Manning, whom they traded for Rivers. Not saying that Rivers isn't a good QB but he certainly isn't a Brees. Ironically, both Eli and Brees won Super Bowls. It just goes to show you, with QBs of all positions you just never know.

Personally, I'm a bit different than most. I think if there isn't a can't miss QB at the top of the draft we don't go QB. We simply have too many holes on this team. Even a HOF QB couldn't lead this team to consistent wins.

No one could lead this team to consistent wins. But an improved team three years from now after that franchise QB has gotten experience and been in the system for three years? The right guy could.

This draft is about more than 2015.

I just read from multiple websites that Cutler coming to Titans would consist of the Titans getting Cutler and his salary and the Bears 1st round pick for the Titans six or seventh rounder. I would actually consider this. Titans getting two early 1st rounders and Cutler sound ok to me. Anyone heard about this?

Bears might give up a "high" draft pick to a team to take cutler and his salary off their hands ...

That's a different approach, but for a team with a lot of cap space, maybe it's an option to get another pick.

I wonder how his contract affects the cap. Titans could take cutler and a 1st rd pick ... interesting thought at least

Teams have already used 3 1st round picks to get cutler ... and now they might be giving a 1st away ... the universe always finds its balance

The bears have the 9th pick right now.. if they want to give us that to take Cutler off their hands.. that might be a different story.

Cutler cant be any worse than CBJ

There is no way whatsoever a team would be able to trade a 6th round pick for Cutler and a 1st round pick.

I would do that in a heartbeat... We'd have two top ten draft picks. Yes please.

Pay Cutler for a season and then cut him next year. No-brainer, but again that report is total garbage. Not happening.
