2-14 isnt better than 8-8...but it is better than an endless cycle of 8-8. Tear the *****

I don't think we can answer these questions yet. One season as HC of the Titans is not enough to know what a coach's potential is. We'll know a lot more by this time next year.

Munch was in his third season. There was plenty of familiarity with him... and, for one, our defense was a 4-3 as it had always been.

It's obvious now that we did not have the proper personnel for a switch to 3-4.

Also, we had very few injuries last season. We've had a ton of injuries this season... as soon as Pollard tore his Achilles, that was the end. He wasn't a great player by any means, but he was a leader.

As much as I hate on Brown, losing him hurt too. I think we're a lot closer to a 7-9 team if Brown and Pollard didn't get hurt... and you add in guys like Roos, Lewan, Oher (as bad as he was our backups were way worse), etc.

Pollard is not a big loss, that is why he has played for so many teams and never got a big contract with anybody. Wilson makes $2M a year how many teams have a 2 mill backup with starting experience?

As for the proper personnel for our defense that's on the coaches. You wouldn't throw the ball 50 times a game with an option QB and then blame the QB.

Bill Cowher talked about changing the culture of a team. Whiz has changed it for the worse.

This team is below zero right now. A game with that Lions team that finished 0-16 would be a close call right now. Why not fake a punt every now and then or slip in an onside kick. At least something to show thre players yoiu are fighting to win not just taking a warm crap on the sidelines.

Whiz failed and needs to be fired.

Top picks don't make a team. Bottom line, you need good coaching, scouting, and team heart/attitude. This team has none of that right now.

How does this compute? You mention the 'end' being injuries on defense and not having the personel for the 4-3? Our MAIN problem is our offense is LAST with an offensive guru as HC? Our defense isn't great but is not the problem.

So how do you justify a 7-9 team with a new HC, new offensive system, and over %12mil in added talent becoming the worst offense in the league? Ok, we are not last, we're only 30th in points. But seriously, with MORE talent and a 'real' offense and more weapons, we are scoring about 6 points less per game and our 3rd down success rate is the worst (about 7% points worse than last year which is huge).

So again, how do you reconcile that our offense is as bad as it has ever been HISTORICALLY when we brought in an offensive guy to improve it. Not only has the offense been terrible, but our special teams have gotten much worse. Add in a avg defense undergoing growing pains and playing games more worth of snaps and you have a terrible team and a terrible record. The point is, how do you not fire Whiz for this output?

You can't say he doesn't have the players on offense or guys to match his system. He does and I think we've proven he has done an extremely poor job of using his scheme to make big plays with matchups and getting his best players the ball. The offense and special teams were supposed to carry us while the defense adjusted. Instead, the defense is the best thing about the team - which isn't saying much.

The say that insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Is it sane to bring back Whiz and Webster? At least the Jets are asking Charlie Casserly for help!

I mentioned Pollard because he was the vocal leader of the team. That goes a long way. I can't say that enough... that's all I meant. We barely won one game after Pollard went down. The combo of the Browns comeback and that injury were crippling IMO. Average player, but we benefited from his presence. There's no doubt about that.

Is Whiz an offensive line guru?... Because that was undeniably the worst part about the offense. Seems to me he needs some pieces for his system to work, and I don't think that's unfair.

I've wanted Webster gone for a while now.

You're pretending like we can fire Whiz and not worry about paying him anymore. People on here hating Whiz can say "yea I'd fire his ass in a heartbeat" all they want, but it's not their $15mil or whatever to buy him out and let him sit on his couch the next four years.

I don't expect Whiz to work at all after what I've seen. So why not fire him?... because no matter who we hire right now we are going to suck ass. And then we'll be paying three or four coaches at once, effectively becoming the Oakland Raiders.

If he's this bad again next year, okay he's gotta go. No doubt.
