Webster's best signing is what? George Wilson? Ropati? His signings have been horrible.

Munch averaged 7.3 wins a year with this rag tag bunch of players. A coach that pretty much everyone, myself included, wanted gone.

I don't expect any changes at GM and, especially, HC.

Tommy could go the route of bringing in someone who might add some different insight and experience to the mix who has a say on talent evaluation but I don't see either going anywhere.

I didn't like the Whiz hire but think he has to be given more than one season. Good luck recruiting a talented HC when you only gave your previous one season.

As for Webster, he's only been the GM for three drafts. So I think it's too early to say whether or not he's done a great job in that regard though we know he's not hit anything out-of-the-park yet.

What's alarming, IMO, are the free agents he's brought in. Just this season:

    Battle
    L. Wash
    CBJ - (for Whiz)
    Woods
    Mariani
    Mookie Johnson
    McCluster
    Woodyard
    Oher
    Pitoitua
    Pollard

None of these guys broke the bank but he whiffed on most even playing at a decent level. Yeah, though Pollard got hurt, IMO, he wasn't as productive leading up to the injury. The McCluster signing is a big miss.

2013's crop of free agent acquisitions wasn't much better. The only player who has produced at a high level has been Walker.

I want to read all the posts that ridiculed this when it happened. Hind site 20/20.

Oh noes we tried to improve our oline and it cost the franchise money but did not prevent us from signing anyone else.

Even though the safe play is keeping them around for another year, my fear is Webster/Whiz will only make moves to save their butts next off season. Let's face it. Webster has been here for 3 seasons now? How has he improved the roster? Delanie Walker at TE and I guess a healthy Pollard at SS? He whiffed on his major signing (Levitre) and no one else has really made an impact (Woodyard, Woods, etc.). His draft picks are either misses or need another year to really figure out.

Whisenhunt is 3-25 in his last 28 games. Next year could be his final year coaching in the NFL. Him and Webster will go for moves that will keep them alive. I see us trading down and loading up on picks and going with the safer plays on defense, rolling with Mett and maybe a trade (Cutler), blowing our cap on vets, and not taking on any risks or projects. That's my fear.

Some of our draft picks worked out, though, williamson has shown some serious promise before he got hurt.

Sankey has done alright, and mett put up solid numbers, you can say all day that he didn't win any game,s but there's always gotta be someone on the other end catching that damned ball. And Lewan turned out good, despite his off the field issues.

If you ask me, this is the most decent draft we've had in a good while.

Which gives me hope for the next one, and our constant state of disappointment will lead us to omg happiness when something is done right for once.

2012 (from what I have understood, he played a major part on draft decisions)
    1. Kendall Wright
    2. Zach Brown
    3. Mike Martin
    4. Coty Sensabaugh
    5. Taylor Thompson
    6.. Markelle Martin
    7. Scott Solomon

Wright isn't a #1 WR. Interested in seeing a healthy Brown with Horton's defense. Martin doesn't have much of a future, Thompson was a project that didn't really pan out, last 2 aren't on the team.

    2013:
    1. Chance Warmack
    2. Justin Hunter
    3. Blidi Wreh-Wilson
    4. Zaviar Gooden
    5. Brian Schwenke
    6. Khalid Wooten
    7. Damion Stafford

Warmack is started turning it around the last few weeks of the year but Guards shouldn't be chosen in the top 10. Traded up for Justin Hunter, yikes. Wreh-Wilson was torched a lot but we'll see if he takes another step next year. Gooden is now or never this upcoming year and Schwenke may not work out. Interesting late picks, I personally like Stafford.

    2014:
    1. Taylor Lewan
    2. Bishop Sankey
    4. DaQuan Jones
    4. Marqueston Huff
    5. Avery Williamson
    6. Zach Mettenberger

By far his best draft. Even though I wasn't big on Lewan he's shown enough to warrant a franchise LT label. Sankey isn't bad, Hill would've been better but he can still be solid. Jones cracked the rotation late in the season, haven't seen much of him. Huff I really don't know. Williamson looks like a steal and Mett could be the week 1 starter next year.

They're not horrible drafts but they're not all that great. Pair that with swing and misses in free agency and here we are. The real truth is, the Titans have missed on their last 2 1st round QBs which set the franchise back...twice. So what do we do? Go with a high risk guy (whether system QB or well Winston) or try and trade down and hope Webster can keep delivering on some of the other positions?
