Blaine Bishop absolutely slammed Whis on 3HL today too.

One of the bigger points made was this season accomplished nothing. I didn't even feel like there was any real evaluation of players or talent.... or everyone just ****ing sucks.

Outside of Casey, Wright, and Delanie, this team has almost nothing to build around. Pretty piss poor.

My problem with the whole culture change talk is this.

Munch, coaching aside. Was very accountable. He would come out and say "We all gotta do better. Players gotta make plays, but I also need to do a better job putting the guys in a position to make those plays."

Whiz is coming out saying "My system works. It's proven. Look back at week 1. We just need a better group of guys. Blah blah blah." What kind of culture is that?

Then you have Mettenberger coming out and saying the culture needs to change. He made a comment about how its not the coaches or management's fault. It starts with the players.

If anything, he sounds like a guy who is try to sell himself to be the starter next year. Which I have no problem with.

It doesn't start with the players unfortunately. It starts from the very top. It starts good ownership, then with a GM making good decisions and bringing in the best talent possible. Then trickles down to the coach doing whatever he can to get the best out the players brought in.

It was the perfect suck storm...

Whiz brings in new schemes without the talent to execute them. About the time the team should be learning the new schemes, players begin to drop like flies. Whiz decides to tank the season as the QB merry-go-round continues and more players go down. It was a downward spiral from the moment Locker came out and stunk the place up the first half against the Cowboys.

I put most of this season on average talent who was depleted by injuries while learning a new scheme but Whiz needs to spend some time looking in the mirror this offseason and evaluate his scheme, play-calling and coaching approach.

I don't know how much the Titans were able to execute Whiz's "perfect offense" with how the games unfolded. He had Locker who wasn't his style of QB, CBJ who just doesn't have the talent or Mett who was too inexperienced. I assume we saw a lot of "watered down" Whiz offense instead of him adjusting to fit his talent. I don't know if he thought the players would eventually come around or if it was pure stubbornness. Either way, I hope Whiz is a smart enough man to adjust.

The Chargers finished this season with the exact record they had last season with someone else calling their plays. Meaning, Whiz wasn't exactly as big a factor in the Charger's success last season as originally thought. It's always easy to second-guess a play when it doesn't work but I felt Whiz was too quick to abandon the quick slants and easier short routes for more of a downfield passing game any time the Titans fell behind. I know many of you felt he abandoned the run too early sometimes too though I never felt, even when games were close, the run game was very effective outside of KC.

Did Whiz win a single challenge the entire season? I'd love to see NFL coaches stats on blown challenges.

My main concern is with the talk of how the players were so uptight trying to execute the plays correctly, they lost focus on the fundamentals. I didn't care for the lack of intensity I saw on the field most of the season. It was a season of passionless football watching players go through the motions and I wonder how much of this is just players uptight about being in the right place instead of reacting. There wasn't any confidence out there. Once the team hit a wall, they crumbled.

A lack of identity continues and, what sucks the most for me is that the Titans don't know if Hunter can ever be more than a tease or if Mett is worth investing in.

There's a load of unknown moving forward and, if anyone can find a silver lining, I'd like to hear it. I got nuttin'.

Yes, but you aren't the HEAD COACH of an NFL football team. He should know these things for public relations. Heck, I'm not sure he even knows the names of all the players.

I'm guessing no one in the FO has a clue what measuring stick to use. We have scouts that rarely show up at games, we have a GM that likes the 'ole boy network, and an owner who said he was going to be a 'hands off' kind of owner, which to me says he hasn't a clue either. What a freakin mess.

Spot on post and would like to see those stats on Coach Challenges as well.

Silver lining: Plenty of cap space. Good draft position. Jurrell Casey. That's all I got.

I don't buy into this culture speak.

I thought we got rid of the "locker room cancers" in the off season? Yet the team drastically regressed, and looked to just be going through the motions.

It's become apparent when you can't hold yourself accountable or if you really don't have a clue on why you're team is piss poor. Bad locker room culture seems to be the culprit.

I'm not just talking about the Titans, I'm talking about any team in general.

Yet this fan base continues to think that coaching is why we are not winning.
