I think Mett is our guy for a long time. I have been saying it. He has all the tools. Learn to move around a bit and he's there. Confidence is Huge for a QB. This guy has enough for the whole team.

OL worth a shlt would go a long way to help him. That being said

DEFENSE FIRST. A stud defensive end is what we need.

Kearse and Van den Bosch are the missing links to when we were successful. More so Kearse than Kyle, but you get my drift. No team fears us because we have to bring the house to cause havoc. We get a stud DE to compliment Casey? Shiiiiiiiit. We be rockin the house then baby.

It is my hope that the Titans can get a a couple of 1st round picks for #2, one of them being at least a top 6 pick. But if we end up having to straight up use the pick it will be hard to pass on either of the 2 QB's.

Nobody wants to hear this, but Winston is probably the top player in the draft. The risk/reward is very high. He makes all the throws, is coachable, durable and a winner. The off the field stuff is worrisome as hell, but he could be the franchise QB the Titans have lacked since McNair.

Ride with Mett this year. Bring in a vet for him to compete with. Prefer someone that's start-worthy besides locker or CBJ.

If we stay put at #2 and can't make a trade happen, I'm on board with this. I keep hearing people say that we have too many holes to fill to take a QB and I don't really buy that. Yes we have a ton of holes to fill but the biggest hole we've had this past decade is QB.

If we move forwards with Mett as QB we'll have to at least boot Levitre's weak ass and get a guy who can settle down and actually block people blitzing. With a soft inside line Mett doesn't stand a chance. Fix the LG and C and I guarantee Mett looks better.

Lewan, Warmack, NEW C, NEW RG, NEW RT. Warmack played better with Spencer at center but the position still needs upgraded.

I don't think there is enough there to hand him the keys. He hasn't done anything of real value. He hasn't won one game. By this rationale, CBJ should be in the running for getting the job. CBJ won a game (thanks a lot, Charlie.)

I understand and believe we should keep him on roster... But I think it's plain old foolery to hand over the franchise's future to him based on the little he did this year.

Mett would of had to carry the entire team to get a win this season, saying he didn't win a game is very unreasonable when determining if he doesn't deserve being handed the keys, but I agree that the sample size is small and he needs strong competition. Just not 1st round draft QB competition.

CBJ won a game with essentially the same team.. so did Locker. Mett and Palmer are the only QBs without a win on this roster in 2014.

"Carrying the team" would be a perfect reason to crown a guy starter.
    He didn't, though.
