I haven't been impressed either. Some very bad throws on both sides. We're analyzing every throw a little closer than most, but still seeing bad throws.

It's obvious Mariota can be so deadly in this sort of offense, but that still sort of makes him a system QB. His OC and overall staff are going to be SO key to his success at the next level.

Call me crazy, being what the score is right now and the stats, but Winston has made some nicer looking throws IMO; when Mariota keeps plays alive though, that's special.

 

I'd like to know what Dungy was smoking when he was making his Mariota/Rogers statement. What I'm seeing out of Mariota is a whole lot of Johnny Doucheball offense. Alot of his completions in this game are him leaving the pocket running in circles and getting completions to guys due to lost coverage. Most of the throws he's making from the pocket are Locker quality high misses/suicide passes.

Winston has definitely made alot more legit throws in this game but still has way too many headscratchers mixed in. Also i'm guessing his ankle is still borked because he looks like Peyton trying to take off on foot.

 

Surgical drive from Winston, wow. That's how he answers back. Game is far from over.

I get your point, but it's not quite the same as Manziel IMO.. Johnny much, much more wreckless.. Mariota's O & executing is a lot more structured.

stupid Flanders put in one of those outdoor fireplaces/big screen things over the summer. These particular Flanders are from Florida so they are Miami Dolphin (not tarpkitty) and of course FSU fans (amazingly they were gator fans till a couple of years ago)

anyways they were real loud when I left for work, bet they all have to go to work tomorrow all of a sudden - LOL
