Yeah... Being better than crap QBs isn't saying much, but who do you suggest we replace Mett with right now?

Franchise QBs don't grow on trees, and I think it would be dumb as hell to give up on Mett after 6 games. McNair was god awful as a rookie... We gave him a chance and were rewarded for doing so.

And yes, I know there's a massive difference in a top 5 draft pick with McNair and a 6th round draft pick with Mett. There's more investment with the McNair pick.

Still... Can't give up on Mett so early when there are no realistic options out there right now.

I'm as tired of chasing qbs and losing as anyone. My personal opinion is that Mett is, at the very least, good enough to take a team to the Super Bowl surrounded by talent ala Flacco, Wilson, etc. He could be a game changer in a year or 2 and become an elite qb.

I know he didn't come in and make some spectacular come from behind win, I mean VY did that a few times his first year and look how that turned out. It was very vanilla this season from him.

When you really look at it though, I mean dude was in his first season, came in on the spot halfway through after being the 3rd string the first half of the season, and put up comparable numbers to other rookies drafted in his class, in some cases better numbers, and more or less did better than one would expect considering how bad the team was, and his situation coming in.

I can't really say I understand what exactly he could have done to have people say yes he is the next great tenessee qb. I don't think that should've even been in the conversation this season with this team, but dude came in and did his thing, if given a shot I anticipate we will see someone next year that is capable of being the franchise qb we are all looking for

For once I feel like, while he isn't "the one", QB isn't the most pressing need for us.

Time to fix the ENTIRE team.

And if he doesn't does he still get the pass of the team being crap? Chances are this team is still going to be crap. Maybe slightly less smelly crap, but crap nonetheless.

If we don't go QB this draft and Mett isn't the answer. I'd love it if we went after Trevone Boykin.

Did Mett rape your entire family or something?

Is Sobs4Dobbs really a thing? Lol he's not an NFL prospect.

The Titans can't pass on Mariota and Winston. They are lucky there are 2 good QBs coming out this year. It would be ridiculous to pass on them because they think Mett is good enough. There is a reason why Mett was not a top 10 draft prospect. He is too immobile. He's a sitting duck for pass rushers. Today's NFL QBs need to be able to move at least some.
