My opinion, I don't think Mett is the answer, but I'm damn sure willing to give him a season to prove me wrong when we have so many other needs.

Metts inability to move in the pocket will be his downfall

Mariota- does not fit Whiz system
    Winston- immaturity
    Hundley- to inconsistent
    Petty- to inconsistent
    Mannion- to inconsistent
Grayson- intriguing but played against lower level competition

you still believe this crap about Winston after last night? He is an immature entitled brat who everyone has shielded from accountability his entire life hoping to cash I on him. He has fail written all over him. He has looked good on the field, but he wasn't always the savior of FSU. Didn't they beat Clemson without him? He had a very good team around him. And besides the game against Auburn he has looked good against lesser competition. Last night he faced a good team, most of which will never see an NFL roster and he looked lost.

    Say what?

Oregon dropped seven and eight in to coverage every snap expecting him to make the same plays he made against UF and it never happened. He had one pick that was tipped at the line but still managed to find it's way to the WR and it bounced off his shoulder. The fumble was inexcusable.

Last night the freshmen that FSU leaned all season losing the ball is what did them in, not Jameis Winston. If I have ever seen a total team-loss, that was it.

I vote we hang onto mett and draft a qb in the later rounds, like the guy from penn state. And use our pick for amari cooper, we need to bolster our WR corps, and he might just be the next megatron. Then we focus on defense and to o line after that. It's a safer bet, if you ask me, but I have a theory, that tampa will go for winston instead, and we get mariota. Just a hunch, though.

The thing with Mett is that he doesn't have to run around in the pocket, just learn to move his feet and side step and slide up and down. He needs to watch Peyton's feet during the whole off-season.

If Mett can get better foot work, he will be just fine. It will also be easier to protect him for the OL as opposed to a highly mobile QB. I do think we need a STUD WR. I am sick of mediocrity there, but I just don't know if and how they will pass on Williams or Gregory at #2

They won't pass them 2 at the #2 pick. The idea of going QB or Amari Copper at #2 is dead. The problem with going Stud WR is if we got one, they would just double the stud and then keep our other average wr's from getting any seperation.

In today's NFL, if you have a stud WR, you have to have a #2 that is almost as good. The exception? Megatron.

I think that you are right....all things I have been reading predict him coming out in the 2016 draft.
