True I didn't know how to back up calling a qb "dumb" any other way. Imo, fitzgarbage is a dumb qb, maybe booksmart and mature. But on the field he's an idiot.

You may be right, but I will be paying close attention to how he deals with the upcoming months (combine, workouts, interviews, etc.) to see if he more resembles Cam Newton or JaMarcus Russell. I am 50/50 about this right now.

    Time will tell...

The upcoming months have little to do with his "game", it has much more to do with evaluating his attitude, aptitude, and willingness to learn/adapt. I agree that it is overrated in evaluating player talent, but it is not at all overrated for evaluating a prospective player on his "intangible" qualities IMO.

It looks like most media scouts been ranking Winston above Mariota as far as on field play goes. Todd McShay, Bucky Brooks, and Daniel Jeremiah come to mind. I still prefer Mariota, but Winston might do better with Whisenhunt.

I agree with you on that. The things you mentioned are either there or they aren't. He can't learn those in 3 months and playing baseball won't affect them negatively.

By that reasoning he won't have to practice once he get's to the NFL. I mean, either he's got it or he doesn't....

Not spending time preparing for the NFL Draft is the dumbest thing you can do. It's like not bothering to prepare for your finals.

If you can't be bothered to prepare for the draft to the best of your abilities, how can a team be sure you won't show the same lack of commitment in the NFL? Even if you think you're going to ace it, the perception of not taking it seriously is damaging.

Hopefully someone close to him will make him change his mind, otherwise they will eat him up and spit him out once he get's to interviews and workouts.

Dude was crying on the sidelines during the Rose Bowl. You're off base with this one.

As far as who told him to play baseball, that's the entire reason he went to FSU over Alabama. They have guys who play multiple sports all over the roster. Saban said no to baseball and Fisher said go for it. He rarely misses practice in the spring and he's a relief pitcher, not an every day starter.

You guys are just finding something to complain about now.

To me he is Donavan Mcnabb 2.0 and by far the player with the most talent.

I think if he goes to a low key city like us for example he will have a chance to developed and mature but if he goes to the Jests or a big media team he will fail.

I haaaate when people question other people's passion.

Do you to practice with him everyday?

Are you there by his side on gamedays?

Are you in class with the guy?

You have no clue what you are talking about.
