They seem crazy about Matthews so I doubt they give him up.

Foles hasn't proven anything to me anyway, but then again none of the Qbs on our roster have either. We have to enter the season with at least some competition for Mett. He needs someone to at the least push him to work hard and be the best he can be. Plus the team needs a fall back plan that does not rest on the shoulders of CBJ.

Oh I am sure they are high on Matthews, which all the more reason to take him. We need a receiver with talent. I seriously doubt, even as much as Kelly may want to keep him, Matthews would be a sticking point. There is one Mariota who is the ultimate Chip Kelly guy. If he felt that Matthews would get him Mariota then Matthews would be traded and they would draft another WR.

Yeah I know Mett needs competition but I doubt Foles is really going to push him that much. Also I would be wary of Foles because he is going into a contract year and may do everything right. Then we get suckered into a Kevin Kolb contract like Arizona did. Also there really aren't that many FA QBs out there to push Mett.

Most ridiculous trade dream I've ever even read. No one is going to trade all those future picks, plus proven talent for a project QB.

Tommy Smith wants tough players. Leonard Williams is that very definition playing at a high level with a knee and shoulder injury. Best thing to do is stay at #2 and take him. That's assuming Tampa doesn't, I would then take the best pass-rusher to make it out of the 1st.

Yeah, the only problem with this is #1: Mariota is likely going first (could very well change) and #2: Eagles draft 20th. They'd have to throw an amazing package together for us to move all the way down to 20. It's so unlikely.

If we stay at #2, I'm all in for Leonard Williams. I see a weird mix of Richard Seymour, JJ Watt, and Gerald McCoy in him. Having that massive 6'5 300 DE on the front w/ Casey could do wonders for our awful run-D. Wouldn't mind packaging him with a 2nd round OLB.

    My early big board:
    #1: Marcus Mariota
    #2: Leonard Williams
    #3: Randy Gregory
    #4: Amari Cooper
    #5: Shane Ray

Williams had better be VERY CLOSE to Watt level to be worth that pick. This is the earliest pick in Titans history.

Plus he comes from USC, outside of QB, USC has an amazing track record with players, especially defense.
