Totally possible too, especially if their bringing in a new coach. Normally takes a transition year before it all clicks (see us and TB this year lol).

Everyone assumes Webster and Whiz know talent when they see it. Do they? Everyone seems to think Webster knows how to wheel and deal. Does he?

 

haha what a dream that would be. It would be funny however if we decide to keep Mett, trade back to NYJ, then next year they get #1 and we take a QB lol

 

It's Jameis or trade down, I agree with that. I don't really see another scenario at this point in the off season.

 

Now its starting to look like Winston could be gone before we pick. Especially considering the Florida connection he has with TB. Lovie might be drooling at the prospect of picking him. So that leaves us with Mariota as the best available QB. I don't know if he fits Whiz's system. It will be interesting to watch his workouts and see if he is able to convince Whiz he can be a good pocket passer.

 

Ideally for us, we trade back with the Jets for their First, Second, Fourth and a 2016 First. I would take it in a heart beat. Only pause for concern is how good we might value Leonard Williams and Amari Cooper. They both will most likely be gone by 6.

 

If we could trade back with the Jets and still manage to walk away with Gregory I'll be so damn hype.

 

I don't think anyone assumes that. As a matter of fact, I think most people think the opposite.
