who said anything about the "mighty sec west" ? I could give a crap about then sec west. However, you could make the argument that the sec produces more NFL talent then most conferences.
i like your distractions and love the fact that you can't produce one example of a successful college QB that is riddled with off the field issues that has become a franchise QB. Good job

What about Washington cornerback Marcus Peters he has off field issues, but several people say he is best CB in draft. Many analysts say he will fall way out of the 1st. He was recently kicked off the team for trying to choke a coach. I know he has issues, but one NFC Evaluator called him the best cover corner to enter the draft in 14yrs!! I don't care if he is a ***** or not, if he can cover and we can get him in 3rd I would be all in.

 

the pa man, excuse me, Adam Jones experiment didn't work out too well. But the difference a guy like this would be a bit different than Winston, as he will have no where near the amount of money and wont be the face or the franchise, spotlight type player that a top QB would be. We have vet guys like Pollard and Griffin that may be about to help that situation it is still a risk. But risk reward in later rounds is easier to accept.

 

Cam Newton. Was kicked off the Florida football team for stealing a computer ($30 worth of crab legs looks small comparatively speaking). Had to go to Juco for a year. Was paid (or at least his Dad was) to go to Auburn. Ended up the #1 overall pick, has outgrown his immaturity issues, is a franchise QB and just won a playoff game.

 

You guys remember when Mark Sanchez was accused of rape when he was 19 and then dated a high school girl when he was 24? No? Funny how the media stopped covering those two incidents.

what's your point? They don't cover winstons case much anymore either. He gives them plenty of other things to cover.

 

Here is a real example of a media pushed fabricated story with no proof or even real accusations.

Cam did do one stupid thing with the laptop, but actually had to pay the price for it by having the leave UF and going to JUCO. Winston us up to at least 3 or 4 stupid things and hasn't paid the price for anything or so far learned his lesson. Cam was what, 2 or 3 years removed from the thing he did when he was drafted? Jameis is up to about 4 whole months.
