Ray Rice cut/suspended indefinitely

I would have no problem signing Rice to a cheap deal...low risk high reward if he comes back and plays anywhere close to his old self.

 

Rice>Greene.....Even a year out etc.....I'd try him out if possible. Is he a douche, sure, but so is most of the league.

 

Most of the world is filled with douches. I'll never get up in arms about the team I root for having douchey people. Hell, I even have douchey friends.

 

If he comes out of full suspension I would make him an offer. He may not be fully fit and he may not have a lot of tread left on the tyres and yes he is a bonafide douche but I suspect we ould get a better return than blowing another draft pick on Chris Henry #2 or some other scrub that our wonderful scouts have picked up on the radar.

 

Exactly. How can you get ANY worse than Greene, Battle, Ringer, etc....I mean, come on.

 

We could absolutely do worse than Greene, Ray Rice is finished. He hasn't run with burst since late 2012.

If we were to sign Rice I would really begin to question Ruston Webster. Better off signing Ricky Williams.

 

Personally, I want Sankey to workout, and wish we would have taken Hill. That said, we need a pounder. I don't care where they get one, or how, I just want someone that can run in-between the tackles and not get injured every damn week. I could care less about Rice, just get the Titans someone worthy to complement Sankey.
