Titans Are The First Big Winners Of The Draft......

We should all be hoping that Mariota dominates in the championship game and both he and Winston just destroy at the combine. The higher their value the bigger the Titans return on a potential trade would be.

If there's one silver lining of being one of the worst teams in football its that it makes for an exciting draft.

 

I want Williams but am very very very tempted by Winston. I want nothing to do with Gregory, I rather take the risk on Winston. Gregory will bust IMO

 

We are picking at #2. Nobody is going to trade up with us, even if they want QB because we are not likely to pick QB and everybody knows it. I'd say we'd have to hope that Bucs take Winston, we take Mariota to even get Jets/Bears/ HOU least likely interested in trading. Otherwise, they are going to take chances that the 2nd QB falls to them.

 

Why not? High risk, high reward. We've picked the "can't bust" guy before. And his fat ass has been an exceedingly average guard since.

 

Winston will bust IMO.

 

A trade would be nice, but taking a QB you don't really want to see if you can get a trade partner is just stupid! We take the best player on our board period! If someone wants to trade, we will entertain the idea. This we have to take the QB sh*t is driving me up a damn wall. We have no idea what or FO is up to- they may want the QB that will be sitting there or they may be going in another direction.

 

Unless the character concerns that the FO can dig up are that damning on Winston- bar a monster trade we should take the talent.

DT don't win games. Edge rushers don't win games (even the best pass rusher in the last 10 years doesn't. (Watt FYI) )

Revis doesn't win games by himself.

But manning, Brady and Rogers all have something in common. They can all elevate a subpar talented team to contenders.

So qb is always the most risk/reward benifactor. End of story.

Qbs win games folks. Mett won zero in his short lived reign. Bad team and all.
