They'll be cleaning out the coaching staff now.

I wonder if Manning is done as well.

That's what I was thinking as well. But, it might be that Elway knows Fox was being out coached by good coaches and wants to go "all in" for one last run with Manning.

I think this means the end of Peyton as well. Cant see him wanting to start over with a new coach for one year unless Peyton hand picks him. Doubt he gets that control since he has one year left tops.

Now, if I am Tommy Smith/Webster/Whiz I am on the phone with Peyton (Or back channels since he is still under contract) and seeing what it would take to come here as a qb assistant/player personal assistant/ and grow into ownership role. He can help our team more off the field than on the field I think right now. If he does leave Denver, but still wants to play, I would love him, but no way he goes to a 2-14 team for his last season.

Manning sounds like he's done but guys always seem that way after a long season. Give him a few weeks and he'll miss the game and announce he'll return for another season.

As for John Fox being out, so what, highly over rated coach.

Interesting and just adds more drama to whether Peyton will come back or is done. Time to use those back channels and see if Manning wants to retire, buy the team, and run the football operation...could be BIG changes for the Titans!!!!:)

So in theory if Manning could handpick a coach, who would it be?
