March 10th seriously can not come soon enough. It also sucks how this is all speculation, but whatever, we suck so bad right now this is all we've got. :anon:

I honestly think Peyton would retire before joining a new team just for a year or two. Also, with as low as the Broncos will be picking, who are they going to get that's better than him in the draft or FA?

He hasn't looked like the same player the last year or so however, his injuries not withstanding. Unless he would come in knowing he would only be playing until our QB of the future (whoever he may be) is ready and he could mentor him, now that could be something. Also, maybe he would be interested in signing with us and buying a share of the team at a reduced rate as part of his compensation. That way he'd have a say so in the way the team is run. If that's the case, bring him on.

    pretty much.
I don't even like the guy, but he'd fill the stands in Nashville for sure. And we certainly need that desperately.

Maybe east Tennessee would wake up from their daydreams and cheer the team on for the two years he'd be here.

    Huh?

if he joined the Broncos for a short while, he could want to sign somewhere for another year or two. Dont put it past Manning to return for a little while, he's perhaps the most competitive guy playing football.

This. I'm all for going after him any time he's on the market but him coming here does nothing for his NFL legacy.

Just because we have Peyton Manning doesn't cure losing. People may go to the games just because of Peyton a couple of times but if we just continue to lose, nobody gives a chit who is on the team.

Maybe so, but why not take the chance? Nothing to lose. Not to mention, it may bring fellow quality players that respect and like Peyton to Tennessee.

Without Manning Denver is a 4 win team, with him theyre hosting playoff games every year. Same thing here if he's healthy.
