I don't believe mett is unaware of pressure.

He just doesn't give a **** about it lol.

The kids got monster balls to stand in that bum ass pocket our o line creates. And he loves attacking the intermediate portion of the field. So obviously where he's comfortable takes more time to allow him to be able to actually throw the ball there.

I can only question his ability to attack defenses with anticipation. That's where I'm unsure he wins. @JCBRAVE you got the rewind right?

Can you please pull up all 22 against the steelers (arguably his best game) and find him throwing to the WRs BEFORE their break at the top of the stem? Post some pics if you get a chance.

Actually I just pulled the game up, it literally took no more than 1 play into the game to see him doing this. Remember that pick-6 he threw to start the game? There he did exactly what youre asking about.

Later on I can rewatch all his plays to get a deeper look.

A good instructor with the youth means no one would get hurt rolling either. But dependent on the child's demeanor

I actually figured that was an anticipation throw before you ever mentioned it. But a solid look at this and why it's taking so long to get rid of the ball.... That's what I'm inquiring about.

IMO Mett has everything it takes to be a great QB except 1 critical thing. Lack of mobility. He doesn't have to be able to necessarily scramble but he at least needs to be able to move well in the pocket. His feet are too slow which makes him a target for pass rushers which is also why he always get hurt. However if somehow he is able to develop quicker feet then he could be a good QB. I just don't know if you can develop quicker feet. I know that's what he said he will be working on this offseason so we will see.

Ill be sure to get to it later and post some pics, gifs, etc...

Anyone know of a video recording tool for Chrome? Ive been dying to create some cut-ups of Mett to show fans he could be the guy, but Ive had no luck.

This is ridiculous for many reason. Just because you have a top 2 pick, doesn't mean you have to take a QB or that QB is going to be a franchise qb. First, there are so many question marks around Mariota and Winston it isn't even funny. They are so far from a sure thing. Secondly, most 1st round pick qb are bust than good. Here is the last 10 years 1st round picks(modern era of football)

2014: Bortles-3rd, Manziel 22, and Bridgewater 32. According to you, these guys are all bust. If Mettenberger is a bust, then with him having a higher QBR and every other metric score higher than them, they are bust.
    2013: EJ Manuel- Bust
2012: Luck 1- Hit, RGiii 2 and Tannehill 8 both average at best and Weeden 22 is a bust
2011 Newton 1 is above average, Locker 8, Gabbert, 10, and Ponder 12 are bust
2010 Bradford 1 and Tebow 25 are bust
    2009 Stafford1 hit, Sanchez 5, Freeman 17 are bust
2008 Ryan 3 and Flacco 18 are hits
2007 Russell 1 and Quinn 22 are bust
2006 Young 3 and Leinhart 10 are bust and Cutler 11 is above average
2005 Smith 1 and Campbell 25 are bust Rodgers 24 hit

    Hit: 5
    Above to Average: 4
    Bust: 17

First round qb mean nothing. Only two them have even been to the Superbowl. Only 2 QB in the last 10-11 years picked in the top 2 were hits. You need to have more than just a QB. Also, how can we even say Mett was a bust (along with rest of the rookies) he played 5 games! He had better stats than just about any other qb through 5 games. The only qb in the league with better QBR over his 5 starts were Brady and Rodgers. As far as his mobility and pocket awareness, that's something you can learn and don't forgte at the time he was still under a year removed from ACL surgery and still wearing a big brace on his knee. Mett plus first pick/trade back > Mariota or Winston
