He's a smaller RB, he needs his blockers to set him up like anyone else his size does.

Sankey has displayed he has burst. He runs with a little wiggle in his step, its weird but fun watching him shake guys up at times, very rare style of moving. I feel like being in Sankeys head any given play would be the coolest perspective ever. He has like some insane matrix view where he sees everything in slow motion. Ive seen more than enough in his 300+ plays to know he's a cornerstone of the future in Tennessee. Think Gale Sayers.

Morgan has never been a problem, but he's also never been a solution. We can bring him back and know that spot of the field will be covered. Hes proven over the course of time hes a reliable player, nobody you worry of being over powered or made into a fool, he's not Michael Griffin.

Another comparison as far as pure running style is Barry Sanders. Low to the ground, a lot of shake, and has the ability to make something out of nothing. I haven't seen Sankey break the long ones like Barry, but I do see some similarities if we are talking about how they run the ball. A rare style it is. People forget Sankey led all rookies in broken tackles. We just need to find a little more space and get him in a rhythm. When you have no passing game in the NFL, you have no ground game. Defenses will make you play to your weakness and for the Titans, it's winning through the air. When we can establish a competent passing game, I really think Sankey will flourish. I think he has a very bright future in this league.

Sankey is gonna be good, give the kid half an NFL OLine and watch him go. 2014 was the worst year ever, not typical of what Tennessee should look like.

But it did allow us the chance to get a top shelf QB. Whisenhunt is so sneaky its ridiculous.

It's not a popular opinion on here because a lot of these posters don't see what goes on behind the scenes. It is as if all they look at is the scoreboard at the end of the game. We tanked this season. We did. This season was for Whiz to see who will stay and who will go and what pieces we need going forward. And also to put us in position for a high draft pick. When you don't have as talented of a roster, you make up for it through coaching and gameplanning. You have to have guys buy into the system and play together. Whiz is figuring it all out and we have a very bright future. I would not at all be surprised to see us sneak in the playoffs next year and in 2016, be looking at a 10-6 record.

Im always as optimistic as you can be as a person. Being a sad sap helps no way in life, BUT playoffs happening in Nashville is going to take a loads worth of work as of January 14th 11:21PM EST(my time).

Our GM Ruston Webster always gets it done in March, so I believe in the Titans possibly being back in it in 2015. We simply cant get hurt again next year how we did this year. Too many guys had to leave the team because of injuries.

I agree. Injuries did hurt, but we also didn't bring back guys who could play if they had to. Our schedule next year is probably towards the easiest in the league as far as SOS. We have the cap and the players we need will be on the market, if Webster can nail 2-3 FAs the future will look very bright.
