Yep. What's even more amazing is that in Tebow's 2 years that he got playing time, he accomplished more in the playoffs than the Titans have since the 2003 season. Just to bring it full circle, how inept the Titans are.

It would have been crazy to come out after 3 games, no matter how well you played. It was the right decision.

Time will tell. He could get injured in his next game, and never play again.
He can be a benchwarmer for the entire year next year, or even worse, come in and stink it up.

There are tons of scenarios in which that could be a horrible decision. He's made it clear that he doesn't care about school. There are enough impulsive teams that would have taken him in the first few rounds this year, I bet. There is no guarantee of that next year, especially if those 3 games were a fluke this season. If it were me.. no starting job promised at OSU, I'd be declaring immediately.

It's all about having the hot hand. See Jamarcus Russell.. if not for beating the overhyped Brady Quinn's ND team in the bowl game, no way he's the #1 overall pick that year.

All he is doing is effectively taking one more year away from his earning potential. He could be a 3rd rounder, ride the bench, practice against NFL defenses daily, make money, and get the job when he's ready. Or he can take the path he's taking: play against lesser defenses in hope of a bigger payday next year or the year after.

football careers are short. Take the money when you can.

At least we don't have to put up with "we should take a flier on Cardale Jones in the fourth round," for the next four months.

I'm sure there will be 3 or 4 more QB darlings to take his place by then.

If not for his twitter musings about the worthlessness of college classes, I'd say so, too. He'll spend next year making money for his college, not himself. NCAA is a scam for players like him, IMO. Some people do appreciate the game, and the free education. That's who NCAA sports should be for, and are, for every sport besides Basketball and Football.

We can thank the conspiracy between the NBA/NFL and the NCAA for these issues. Forced gateways to the pro level.

Except for those two sports, the NCAA is run fairly well. But where there are millions of dollars, I guess corruption runs rampant.

The guy is a star right now with a few options on the table. He can go all in right now in hopes that some looney team is willing to take a big chance with their money or he can play the long game, put some more shine on that brand and a few more stickers on the helmet and possibly rake all the chips off the table.
No way any of us here know one way or another what's best for him.
I'm happier personally that he's staying put rather than riding the pine with The Texans or some other team I hate...
