If you guys are fans of docs, I've got a list you need to check out.

American Hollow - About an Appalachian family in Kentucky. Real backwoods people, better than the Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia if you ask me. You can watch it free in a few parts on Youtube.

Dirty Driving: Thundercars of Indiana - It's about a town who's GM (I think) plant is closing down. Lots of memorable characters.

Off the Grid - People squatting on govt. land on the plateau in New Mexico.

Dark Days - People living underground in an abandoned section of the NYC underground railroad system.

I Like Killing Flies - People believe the "Soup Nazi" from Seinfield is based off of the main character but it is not. Easy to see why though.

The Parking Lot Movie - A bunch of underachievers working a parking lot booth.

Reindeerspotting: Escape from Santaland - It's a decent doc about some drug addicts in Finland hooked on Subutex. Pretty sad if you see what happened to the main character after the filming.

The list goes on but that should be a start.

 

Are these all on Netflix?

I know Dirty Driving won't be. It was an HBO Doc.

I Like Killing Flies and The Parking Lot Movie were on Netflix but I'm not sure if they still are.

I don't remember where I caught Dark Days. Reindeerspotting I watched on Amazon Prime Instant Video.

American Hollow and Off the Grid were both on Youtube. I'm assuming they still are. Definitely need to check them out.

 

American Sniper is the greatest war movie ever made. Clint Eastwood swung for the fences with this film.
