The Jags have always been a bad team, but I have to admit Del Rio had them competitive with Garrard as their QB. Listening to their press conference with Del Rio he says all the right things. He may surprise us. I will be shocked if they pull it out in Oakland, but I like Carr. I was really hoping we drafted him. He is a good young QB. Oakland has a lot of Cap Space or so they have said, I have not looked. I thought the Del Rio hire was nuts too, but the more I think about it, he has pulled a crap team up to the playoffs before. He may be ok.

Fox is a good coach. I do wonder how well he will do now that he is in QB hell with (Dunta Dunta Duh) Bipolar Boy leading his offense. Should be interesting to watch.

I am rather shocked that Adam Gase hasn't gotten a shot at a HC job somewhere. It is looking like he may fall to an OC needy team like the Jags. Probably best for him in the long run. If he can prove he can do the same without Peyton as his QB he will go to a good team next year.

The jags weren't always bad, they've been bad for a long time, but they used to be decent with brunell under center, didn't we play them in the afc title game?

90s Jags had a pretty damn good team.

Del Rio was a really good player and isn't that bad a coach. His and Fishers pissing contests were always pretty good. I've no doubt that they will be better under his stewardship if not exactly a contender.
