The OL has got to be addressed in FA...

Step 1 is getting rid of Oher & Levitre.

I'd love to have Roos back to play RT, but I bet he's looking to finish his career with a contender.

We have to find a new RT via free agency and then i'd draft a LG in the 3rd.

 

You guys have way too much faith that the guy who blew a ton of money on bad FA signings can just blow a ton more money on FA signings and somehow fix things.

 

March 15th Oher gets a bonus, expect him to be gone by then.

 

I fully expect Oher to be cut soon. The one good thing Webster did was the way he constructed Oher contract. Its now essentially a one year deal. He will be cut and we will lose $0. We have to sign another RT and believe it will be done. I also expect Levitre to not be cut as soon. As much as we hate it, $ will always come into play. He do owe him a lot. I think we do draft a G in the top 4 rounds to compete with him for the starting job. I think he will step his game up or be a very expensive back up. We have a lot of literal holes on this team, itll be tough for them to make another. I know some think as him as a hole as well, but RG will be down on the list of priorites. If some G wants to come here that's good, maybe we sign him, but we wont be spending big on a G.

 

So then what do we do? Not spend any money on free agents? Stick with oher and levitre? Draft a ot at #2 overall?

Agreed. It's that complacent "Well, maybe we'll get em next year" mentality the fans have been complaining about for years rearing its ugly head again. If you want major change then sometimes you have to make major changes. We won two freaking games this year and were historically bad and yet zero changes were made.

What has Webster done while at the helm to warrant another shot?

 

Which is all the proof anyone should need that the people really running the show (ol' Fat Tommy) are in over their heads. Tommy knows he can't fire his GM because he has no idea how to hire a better one.

 

Indeed. He is trash. How is it possible to take the 2013-2014 year and get THAT much worse?!?!?! It's unreal and disgusting.
