I really like Williams, so don't take what I'm about to say as a diss on him. But I am to the point now where I am so impressed with Danny Shelton, I think I'd rather have him. Not saying at #2, but if we could trade down. I just think a quick, pocket collapsing NT is harder to come by than a really good defensive lineman.

The only game I've been able to find of Shelton online during the 2014 season is against Hawaii. Anyone have anything else? I don't really like two-year old games. So much can change in that time.

An extremely quick NT, with a good first step and size: 6'2, 339. He's been compared by a lot of scouts and talent evaluators to Haloti Ngata. But instead of typing out a long description, I'll just let you watch and see what you think.

That video honestly did nothing to convince me about the guy, and I'm not sure how you would rather have him over Williams unless it's just some sort of gut feel.

But from what I saw, Shelton has no moves... and I don't see him as a quality pocket collapsing NT.

    Where's he projected to go?

He looks solid, like a bigger Aaron Donald. I am just not sure he has the motor of an AD. I don't know guys, the way I see it, is we need a game changer right away. I can't take getting any worse. I don't want a project or a reach on a QB that may very well bust, especially because they don't have weapons or a team surrounding them.

He's climbing the boards fast. They're saying now, he could be top 10.

I just think an awesome NT is much harder to come by than an awesome defensive lineman. Again, not dissing Williams, I think he's awesome and would be excited if he's the pick. But I'm beginning to think trading down once and taking Shelton would be the best move.

Interesting no doubt! I like his size in the middle for the 3-4

Just depends what we'd be able to get for trading back.

It would need to be significant.
