If you accept Manning was injured then how do you equate that with "choke" a simplistic term I usually hear from individuals that don't watch football but listen to the scores and form opinions from that. What is the determining line between choke and suck? I think we need a slang/graph chart.

I agree that talking about Manning coming as a player and being some sort of instant salvation is a bit silly. But for me this is more about new ownership...which I think is less farfetched (though probably still a long shot) at this point.

You mention that we should be discussing the future...for me the future looks much brighter for the Titans in Nashville with new ownership...especially if that group is "Tennessee centric". For that reason I do not see this as a silly thread.

This is the big reason we would/should look into signing him. We all know our team is ready to compete and one over the hill legend isn't going to change that. But, he would however be a great addition to our team in the fo after he retires.

I am sure someone already posted this but Elways already stated he wanted Peyton back, so it's up to Peyton if he wants to retire or play. Zero chance he plays football for any other team.

I'm sure if he does came back, he'd rather play for the Broncos than the Titans. Especially without Bud around. However, if he were to consider it since he like all the after playing football stuff Bud offered (if it were still on the table), I'd bring him in. He'd only be here for a year or 2, lets RW use the #2 elsewhere. Let Mett learn from Peyton for a year or 2. Mett then takes over in a much better place with a draft or 2 of talent around him.

If RW continues to suck, let Peyton be the new GM, or whatever position he wanted.

What ever remote chance there was of Manning becoming a part of this organization is probably done since Tommy's little fat boy temper tantrum.

Manning is the greatest season player of all time.. He just can never finish the job.... Who cares about this year and him being hurt... How long has he been in the league? And he only has one championship to show for it... His brother is not even close too him and has more to show for it and beat a 16 and 0 team coming in as a wild card team... One other note.. manning had a chance to come here when he was still good.. He passed us over F him...

I am still pissed at that girl for turning me down in high school. What is up with people, they should do exactly what the hell I want them to do.
The Vikings squandered more chances than anyone, let's all hate them too.
