I don't know if I would call the accused denying accusations as "killing it".

 

The Pats cheated...again! Belicheck saying he didn't know about it is ridiculous considering he knows every rule and detail about everything in order to find advantages. And the example he gave of a ball dipping .2 from the whether is a lot different from a 2.0 drop. And if it was from the weather, the Indy balls would be just as deflated...and yet they weren't. Kind of only leaves one explanation.

Also, the balls are checked 2 hours before the game but the Pats can't mess with them until 10mins before the game (or so Ive read) so they'd have had to do it quickly.

You think a ball boy is gonna deflate almost every game ball without the coach or Brady knowing about it? He'd be fired in a second!

The problem is...what do you do about it. This is like PED's in baseball in the sense that they tarnish the integrity of the league. Here you have a team that broke a rule (and the league knew about it during the game)...and is headed to the SB? What do you do now? While Indy got creamed, it doesn't matter if this was a difference maker or not...because in another game it could have been. What would you do if it was a close game and A Pats WR makes a tough catch to win the game? Then you find out they were using balls that are easier to throw and catch?

And along those lines, the Colts knew about this after their November game and told the league about it...nothing was done? Another cover up. more disturbingly, the Ravens ALSO apparently knew about this. How did THEY know? Makes me think this isn't a one game thing but perhaps the Pats standard operating procedure! What if it comes out they've done this in every game?

Goodell will want to sweep this under the rug, but how do you do that? Sean Peyton was suspended for a year for what a coach under him did and for lying to the commish. What do you think belicheck is doing right now! And this isn't the first time the Pats have broken or circumvented the rules!

Ironic that after skirting the spirit of the rules in the Ravens game Brady told them to look up the rules. Well we're looking up the rules Tom and you guys broke 'em!!!

Congratz on tarnishing your franchise and perhaps legacy over this idiocy! A close friend is a giant Pats fan and he was looking forward to this being redemption for the Pats that they could win the SB without any cheating allegations hanging over thier head. And now this............he can't even enjoy his team going now!

 

You mean is now lying to everyone who'll listen? He and Brady can't risk coming out and saying they did something wrong or the back lash could be severe and would tarnish the SB...as if it isn't already.

WTF is Belicheat going to say? yeah I heard something about it but I told them they better not do it? Or "I can't prevent anybody cheating if I don't know about it..."

I also like how he says he has no knowledge of ball manipulation and then refers us to all his past players who'll confirm he'll make the ball conditions as bad as they possibly can be in practice.

This is why I have lost interest in the NFL. Arrogant MFers like Belicheat and Goodell operate under the mantra "yeah- we broke rules, but we've got enough clout and money to get all you suckers to swallow our BS intended to cover our tracks."

Sad thing to me is it appears they are right.

 

It's humorous how he basically throws Brady under the bus. Kraft has gotta be livid right now. I wonder if the league will suspend brady 4 games. That would make the most sense I think, treat it like a PED violation.
