Give me a handful of teams with two quality starting TE's that can block and catch, not gonna happen.

I'm with @JCBRAVE .. I would like Stevens to be gone and replaced with a mid-round TE. With that being said, we have SO many other needs that this should be the least of our worries.

Probably a position that we need to look at free agency at. If Walker happened to go down, we would be in for a world of hurt.

So your telling me Ben Watson, Hoomanawanui,Green, Dion Simms, Kelce, Fells, Ertz, Cook/Kendricks are all starting material that you would trust to be a reliable blocker and pass catcher. Because that is the debate. I see no one in that list that scares me in the passing game or blocking. Like Taylor Thompson in a back-up role serves his purpose for a 5th round pick. Not to many teams are going to have two guys that excel in both blocking and catching.

I don't think we will get a comp pick this year. They are determined by size of contract lost & resigned. PK brought it up this week. He said that some of the stupid contracts Webster signed this year will hurt us in comp picks. With Verner being the one that got away, we signed Oher to a contract very close to what he got. Very Dumb. And we also signed others to questionable contracts like Woodyard. So when all is said and done I wouldn't count on that comp pick.

Not the news I wanted to hear & I don't trust it from PK but he did quote another source as well. I will see if I can find the link.

After the senior bowl, I like Carl Davis even more. I wanted him in the 3rd but fear he'll be a boarder line 1st/2nd round pick. Fits Ray hortons scheme. He'll be a dominating force in the run game and tie up blockers for our linebackers.

His interview does scared me saying he would be effective playing only have the game and gave only half effort in practice.

I am really starting to think that the Browns are looking to trade up. They are desperately seeking a QB that will come in and work. I don't know if they would try to trade up to #2 or not, but they do have two 1st round picks. It would not hurt them as bad to trade up. I would not be shocked if they go after Mariota. After finding out Manziel is not anything like what they wanted him to be they may be looking for the anti-Manziel, as far as attitude & work ethic.

No way they're giving up on Manziel that quickly..

Trading #2 would be a mistake. Stay pat and draft Williams. Everyone else is a tier 2 prospect. We suck, yes we could use more picks but you're better off adding a tier 1 prospect like Williams (ala Lewan).. Lewan/Williams would be excellent back to back first round picks.
