If you want to talk about a NT who doesn't get a TON of attention, Xavier Cooper from Washington state could be a gem. He had an "A" game vs Oregon:

Cooper is probably still a 2nd round pick, but he's not getting the attention Shelton, Goldman, Bennett, Brown or even Carl Davis get.

There's def alot of potential stud NTs available this year, hopefully we grab one. Still wouldn't mind Dan Williams though.

I'm starting to think CB may be our biggest need...

We put up 39 sacks this year, tied for 16th overall. But we still need that superstar OLB, who demands double teams and makes offenses plan against him, but yet get a consistent pass rush. 39 defenders ranked ahead of Derrick Morgan, our leading sacker. So we're still getting pressue, just lacking that true impact player to pair with Casey. But at CB, we're dying for a CB1. McCourty is a great 2, but he's not a #1... we've been mostly saying that for years. Hortons D has always had that star "DB" (Haden/Peterson) to which he could basically lock down a size. Coty & BWW basically sucked it up this year. It doesn't help that Griffin/Wilson were awful this year & Pollard basically just lays the boom. We need somebody opposite to McCourty who can line up weekly vs #1 WRs.

Now, i'm not saying to take a CB at #2, but would entertain a 1st round CB if we traded back. But, at #33 there's some legit corners that would be available. Hopefully we can find our CB1 there.

CB is not our #1 need as a pass rusher can help the entire secondary AND our run D more than a cb can. That said, only CB I take in rnd 1 on a couple of trade backs would be Trae Waynes. PJ at #33 or Nelson at top of 3rd (though he probably goes 2nd rnd depending on how he runs).

McCourty doesn't look like a #1 when we have no pass rush and only reason we got that many sacks is feast or famine...we sent the house leaving our corners on an island. If the pressure got there...great. if it didn't, we probably gave up a big play! Getting a better cb who also can't cover for 7 seconds is not gonna help much without us being able to get pressure with 4. We need at least 1 pass rusher!!!

While a dominant pass rusher or 2 could make our entire secondary look better, we also need a #1 WR!!!

Corner has some great depth this year as well.

The only thing I DON'T like about Rollins is he is a project. He still is learning the position, even for college and now we are gonna match him up with TY Hilton? Most people are impressed with his 7 picks and he has good hands...but I know 2 of his INT's were on balls overthrown at another WR that basically hit him in the chest.

He didn't exactly lock ppl down in 1v1 drills in the Sr Bowl. And we need to see his long speed as even his own coach wondered how fast he is. He may be better playing FS depending on his speed but he's not close to PL Williams and Trae Waynes in coverage.

Nelson really stood out. White was intriguing but Im concerned about his long speed...but both those guys look for the ball and White especially plays the ball (even when beat).

    Would have to be #33.

I'd agree with you Gut, he's a project. He's got 1 year of experience playing CB and he improved at a rapid rate. He's got the size 6'0 203 and seems to have the speed, lateral quickness, quick feet, good use of hands.

    Here's a solid article on him: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/...et-the-prospect-miami-ohio-cb-quinten-rollins

I still like Waynes & PJ Williams more, I just think they'll be gone by #33. #33 is spot where we can truly go BPA. That likely won't be Rollins. However, i'm sure there will be a prospect that falls into our laps at the spot.

I watched all of the games I could find, Rollins looks good but I wish I could find a game vs an elite WR.

33rd seems about right for what many are calling the 4th CB.
