I think we need to re-sign Morgan to a 3/15 deal. His next contract will still be in his prime and we could be great depth with the addition of a FA olb and a rookie olb.

He will get way more than that on the open market. Unless he just wants to stay with the Titans. PK and Wyatt were talking about that earlier this year that he would get a big contract just because pass rushers are so important to teams success they will over pay a lot of the times. I think your number is accurate to what he's worth but still think he'll get more.

I would guess that all of our FAs will want to get as far away from this team as possible. I'd like to re-sign Morgan but you'd have to figure he'd rather get out of Dodge.

Suh is THE FA that we need to be trying to pry away from Detroit. Suh and Casey would make our D 2008 dominant if not even better than that.

Suh would be so ill! I'd take that, no matter the $

We should target Cobb, Orakpo, Mccourty, McPhee, Knighton, Williams & Parnell.. Sign 2 or 3 of these guys.

Can you imagine if we sign Suh and draft Shelton? Our line would be Casey, Shelton, Suh. That's sick right there.

However, I worry that Suh has never played a 3-4 and might not fit the system very well. I would be surprised if he signs with a 3-4 team, but one can dream.

I think we will be in the mix for Suh.
We are one of the few teams that have the desire and ability to pay Suh 100m+. Giants, Raiders, Bears? I dunno.

Two potential advantages not yet developed:
    1. Dick Lebeau, if we are able to bring him in under some role, having Horton and Dick on staff may help sway.
    2. SLH - perhaps the two got on famously. I for one would be more than happy keeping SLH and going with - Casey/Hill/Suh. Draft 2 pass rushers.

    Suh DT
    Ingram or Murray RB
    Sam Acho OLB
    Morgan and Roos resigned

Perfect FA and then we can be flexible with trade down offers in the draft.

Yea I think he's worth about that as well. There are about 4 OLB's coming into free agency that will go first, but he'll be the 5th or so OLB to sign.

The major problem with this scenario is that we have 3DL who purely focus on rushing the passer, who's gonna stop the run?

I love Casey, but I can't help but think that his motivation to get 20 sacks has a direct impact on this team's inability to stop the run. He needs a meat-eater next to him for him to be a major part of run stuffing DLine, I don't see anyone out there like that except for maybe Shelton or Terrance Cody.

Dan Williams is that gap stuffer. We have strong ties to him and I would bet we are in the running for him. Pair him with Casey and Leonard Williams would be a very solid line. Add a 2nd round olb and a fa olb and we have something.

we have nothing if we dont address RT and LG on offense, you saw first hand what not having a capable offense does to its defense.

Signing Dan Williams would be nice but its probably #5 on the priority.
