There are probably hundreds of stats/tables out there to prove that our OL is trash ... why did you have to pull out the one table that doesn't do that?

The one table that makes no claim on OL performance AT ALL

Just summed up every argument in Taboo. These past few pages were fun though. See a chart, see Titans at the top, and immediately assume it is a chart about who sucked the worst. Good stuff.

That's why I got TitanJeff to ban me from Taboo a few years ago. Best decision I ever made around these parts.

I'm not saying that is what the chart says. I'm just using a generalization of any chart to support the idea that our OL is awful. We don't need one. JESUS F$%^&* CHRIST!

Justin Houston has to be our #1 target. He's 26, coming off a career year, and pass rush is our biggest concern. The dude had 22 sacks!! ...we had 39 as an entire team. Adding Justin Houston would be a game changer. However, I still think KC will tag him before he goes anywhere. Jason Worilds would be my #2 option, but he's not as much as a gamechanger as Houston would be.

Devin McCourty would be huge. We could get rid of Griffin and replace him with an elite FS... plus reunite him with his brother. Problem is, i'm sure Pats will tag him before they let him go. However, his backup was a 2nd rounder in 2012. Perhaps the Pats move on from Devin and let Tavon Wilson take over.

Dan Williams. Plays NT, he's a Whiz draft pick and has played under Hortons scheme. Our Run D is trash and adding a true NT would do wonders.

Adding these 3 players would be a DREAM, but it's possible. Same 3 that i've wanted since the season ended.

cause someone tweeted it to me

but did you ever think to yourself, hey maybe the degree of difficulty is raised because those 5 scrubs blocking suck? thats not a factor?

Some other guys I wouldn't mind:

    • Clint Boling, OG - obviously we need a new LG because Levitre is god awful. Clint is only 26 and has 47 career starts under his belt. We could lock this uy up for the next 5 years and get him during his prime. We have to be careful not to overpay, but this would save us from having to use a Day 2 pick on a guard. Orlando Franklin would be another option. Boling would be much cheaper than Iupati.
    • Mark Ingram, RB - would basically replace Shonn Greene. Likely that the Saints move on from Ingram. However, he's still only 25. He's been a let down since being drafted, but NOLA was never the right scheme for him. He's had a 4+ YPC the last 2 years and had 964 yards/9 TDs in 13 games last year. He actually runs hard though, would be an upgrade over Shonn.
    • Chris Culliver, CB - he's SF #1 CB. Basically is their McCourty.. solid #2, but not a great #1. Still, BWW & Coty were so bad last year. Culliver is just 26 and has another good 4 years in front of him. I'd rather draft a potential #1 CB, but wouldn't mind picking up some CB depth via FA.
    • Jabaal Sheard, OLB - PFF has Sheard ranked 2nd in the NFL at run stopping and 12th in coverage at OLB. He's only 25 and has played with Horton, maybe Horton has a connection with him still and can get him here. He only had 2 sacks last year, but only started 5 games. He put up 8.5 sacks his rookie year. He's basically a slightly better Morgan. Doesn't fix the pass rush need, but finds us a starter at 1 OLB spot for the next 5 years.

No, not at all according to this chart … If anything, you would think that the degree of difficulty would decrease as the OL gets worse (ie, if you have a bad line then you would want to help them out with play calling)

The best OL should have the highest degree of difficulty because they are able to handle themselves without any help from playcalling.

Again, this chart makes no claim whatsoever about OL performance … it speaks only to the conditions in which they had to perform … this chart is more about Whiz than it is the OL. It shows that even though his OL sucked, he still refused to give them any help. He did not leave extra blockers (like TE) often. He did not use quick passes to mask his OL … put the OL in a tough spot on a regular basis. Who knows, maybe the OL wouldn’t suck so bad if Whiz helped them out a little bit.

This chart is in no way an indictment on the OL … It is an indictment on Whiz.

I would really you to explain how you interpret the graph, because I really don’t see how you can keep saying this has anything to do with OL performance
