Don't fool yourself, those sack #s are highly inflated because of how often we'd send the entire house after the QB, basically our only chance to get a sack due to lack of quality at OLB; We need to add a guy that can win 1 on 1 besides Casey. OLB is still a bigger need than CB, especially since good line play can highly improve a secondary, whereas a secondary does NOT really do the same for a line/pass rush.

He's a baller.. Got the feel he'll be a major sleeper.. I guarantee he outplays his draft position.

Anybody know anything about Eli Harold from VA? Could be an OLB option at #33.

I've watched a few of his games.. pure pass rusher.. great burst with a long stride.. gets off the snap really quickly.. He has track athlete speed. high motor..

He needs to get stronger.. he's quite weak vs the run, and was hardly ever asked to drop into pass coverage..

In short, he's raw vs the run/coverage but is a seasoned pass rusher.. wouldn't surprise me if he's a 10+ sack guy at the next level.

I see him going in the 25-31 range though.

Hau'oli Kikaha (Washington), Lorenzo Mauldin (Louisville) & Nate Orchard (Utah) are also good OLB options at 33.

If we want to go NT.. Malcolm Brown or Jordan Phillips may be avail at 33.

I have a strange feeling we'll go WR, CB or OG at 33 though.

Harold is an interesting player. He can flash some real pass rush speed, but unlike Kikaha and Mauldin, he doesn't have great hands and can shoved around. If they lock onto him, he rarely gets another shot at the QB. He looks like a more raw version of Nate Orchard...and Orchard is raw!

Harold is definitely on the light side so I'll be interested to see if he's bulked up and what his athleticism is at the combine. His lack of play against the run and difficulty vs blockers who latch onto him along with his lack of bulk makes me think he may pop at the combine and be overdrafted.

Problem is, if he can gain strength and size without losing his athleticism and develop his hands and some more pass rush moves and learn how to stack and shed more effectively...maybe he could be worth a 2nd rnd pick....but that's a lot of IF's to get the player you want. I see him as a 3rd or 4th rndr depending on his combine/Pro Day stats.
