Taking Manziel in the first was even more preposterous. The guy will be lucky to have an Akili Smith-type career.

I'm willing to bet the Browns would still be using Richardson in some capacity if they hadn't gotten a hell of a deal for him.

With Johnny Football becoming Johnny Rehab, they might be more inclined to take a QB. I think I would take their two 1st rounders', 2nd rounder, and a 2nd next year for ours. Danny Shelton and Bud Dupree might be more appealing to me than Leonard Williams

I don't think that Shelton will be available at #12 anyways... dude is flying up draft boards, especially after he has a Dontari Poe type combine.

I could see Shelton going in the top 5 or see him still there at #33 (though a lot would have to happen for this). Really depends on how high people have him and what needs match other players at or near the same draft grade. Everyone needs pass rushers but not that many teams need a NT. A lot of WR's and pass rushers and people reaching for CB's could push him back. Also depends on how high a lot of these OL go. if a lot of the projected OT's and say a Cam Erving go in rnd 1, you could see a way for him to slip.

One can dream, but could you imagine if we got say Houston in FA and then got Leonard Williams at #2 and Shelton at #33? And then Maybe Kendricks at the top of rnd 3?

    WOW!!!

That would be amazing, but I can't see Danny at #33. I wish though lol

    Boom!

Citing team sources, Bleacher Report's Jason Cole reports the Browns will give "very strong consideration" to trading up for Oregon QB Marcus Mariota.

With the No. 12 and 19 picks, and 10 selections overall, the Browns certainly have the ammo for a move up, but it's possible they'd have to vault all the way to No. 1. ESPN's Adam Schefter has reported there's a "real sense" the Bucs are eyeing the Heisman Trophy winner. There will be lots of offseason noise about the Browns moving on from Johnny Manziel, but a serious move for Mariota is an unlikely avenue. If nothing else, the reports serve as a way for Cleveland to try to scare Manziel straight.

^ Still don't see it happening..

    Is 12, 19, 43 & 2016 first a realistic get? I'd do it for that..

    12: Vic Beasley/Shane Ray
    19: Devante Parker/Kevin White/Landon Collins/Trae Waynes/PJ Williams
    33: Arik Armstead/Sammie Coates/Devin Smith/Josue Matias
    43: DGB/J Strong/Jordan Phillips/Nate Orchard/Carl Davis/Kikaha/Orchard

I know I put a lot of options, but imagine this get:
    Vic Beasley
    Landon Collins
    Arik Armstead
    DGB

    My God..

No, that is overkill per the chart though the Titans, if smart, would push that they are dropping us out of getting a blue chip player (out of the top 5 and top 10).

A realistic albeit expense trade for the Browns would be...

They get our 1st rnd pick (#2) and we get either of these two options...

Option A all picks in 2015
Both First rnd picks (12, 19)
    Second rnd pick (#43)
Fourth rnd pick (about pick #115)

    Option B
    2015
Both First rnd picks (#12, #19)
    Fourth rnd pick (about #115)
    2016
    First rnd pick

I will guess Shane Ray will not be available at #12, Parker, Collins, Waynes won't be available at #19, I think all of your potentials for #33 will be available but I doubt Orchard, Strong, Davis, Kikaha will be available at #43.

Honestly, if you make this deal (depending on free agency) you have a ton of options. First and foremost you hope a top 10 pick falls and if not you look to trade #12 back into the middle teens...someone looking to move up for a specific player or position (WR or OT or Pass rusher). But let's say you get Option A...and didn't trade.

    Ideal scenario might be...

    #12 OLB Shane Ray
    #19 CB Trae Waynes
    #33 OL Cameron Erving
    #43 ILB Erik Kendricks
    #66 WR Phillip Dorsett
    #98 DL Henry Anderson
    #115 FS Gerod Holliman
    #130 FB Jalston Fowler
    #165 OT Rob Havenstein
    #195 RB Karlos Williams

Well, if we think Winston goes #1 to the Bucs (already a Fla guy, better on field in the pocket prospect and can start from day 1), that means Cleveland trades with us and we again...get to pit the Browns vs the Jets and anyone else interested. The great thing is...neither team may have a QB and a bidding war is always good.

On the other hand, if Mariota goes #1, I bet the Jets and Rams would be interested in trading up for Winston and we might just take him ourselves.
