I'm sure Brady ask Ram air IV (Better be a car guy to get that) if he was happy to get beat and go home to Compton or where ever that dude hangs with his homies.

Pete Carroll sounded like he had dementia when that lady interviewed him outside the locker room. I still have no idea as to of what he was trying to say other than "I ****ed up."

They screwed up and he knew it, not much he could say. If you have 3 downs and a time out from the one with one of the best power backs ever, there is no excuse. You either pound it with Lynch, or do some sort of boot and fake it to Lynch, but Lynch needed to be involved.

You have 3 chances to line up on the line and pound it right up the middle. Wow. Just disband the Seattle franchise... Not sure how you come back from that one. They gave it away. Literally gave away an entire season because they got away from what they do best... Run the ball. Wow

He still had tears in his eyes, understandably so. He's going to have a hard time recovering from this one. He knows he ****ed up. And Darrell Bevell should be ashamed too. As should Wilson for not audibling.

It's gonna be a rough recovery for the Seahawks. They were verging on a dynasty IMO, and they sh*t it all away (for the moment). I'm not sure they can even come back from this now. The ending was just too brutal to bounce back immediately from. I definitely don't give them much of a chance of winning next year, but we'll see. They need a true #1 WR and a #1 TE. Easier said than done, of course.

Here's the thing... I can actually understand where Carroll was coming from.

They didn't have to give the ball to Lynch on that play. But why THAT play call? I mean, you're really asking for it there. I know Butler made a great play and all, but that play call was horrible. Why not read option or play action bootleg? You have the best QB at doing that. If the run or throw to the endzone isn't there, throw it away.

Then you still have 15ish seconds left on 3rd down with a timeout... which means you can run Lynch up the middle, and he'll probably score. If he doesn't score there, you call timeout with 4 seconds left and figure out whether you want to run it again or try a pass.

The logical thing to do was to just run the damn ball up the middle with Lynch to begin with. I mean... he fought for it and almost scored the play before. He's named Beastmode for a reason. He would've found a way to get in the endzone.

Beastmode was gonna score whether they handed to him once or twice (or possibly even three times). Just pathetic handling and what a crushing defeat.

They screwed up, and they know it. The last drive, they got the ball with 2.02 on the clock, Wilson hit Lynch around the 50, and the stop clocks with the 2 minute warning, and they had timeouts. 2 minutes from the 50 with timeouts, the playbook is wide open, but they kept throwing deep. Obviously they had the crazy catch, but their play calling made no sense the entire last drive. Take away the crazy catch, and that is the worst play calling for the entire drive I have ever seen.

It's like Pete Carroll pressed X instead of O

    On another note:

Gotta give credit to Belichick. Biggest difference between him and Carroll in the last minute of the game was that he trusted his defense. Everyone had to be wondering why he didn't call a timeout with 59 seconds remaining and the Seahawks on the 1, but he didn't, and Carroll responded by completely choking. You have the number one defense in the league, you don't think they can keep Tom Brady from getting into FG position within 30 seconds? Seahawks got way too concerned with clock control when there wasn't much of a need to.
