My wife and I plan on buying tickets to the titans-bills game the day they go on sale. She's a bills fan, I'm a titans, might be our first/last chance to see them play live in Nashville while we are still down south (NC) . Any info on the following would be great appreciated:

Hotel : does anyone have any recommendations for hotels downtown? We aren't looking to spend a lot of money, but it doesn't need to be the cheapest. We will be staying for 2 nights. We are driving to Nashville so if there's a recommended place outside of downtown, it is still an option.

Tickets: i assume check out places like stubhub, but does anyone have a site they prefer for getting tickets? I Always see nfl ticket exchange commercials, is that actually a good deal? Any experience appreciated.

Seats: we are looking to spend about $150. Will the seats be decent at that rate? Where should we look to sit? I know by midfield is always recommended but idk what's possible at $150 (first time purchasing tickets to a game). I also don't know the stadium, any areas to avoid is appreciated. Is there a "titans" side and an opponent side? Id prefer titans but either is fine and my wife is a bills fan.

Food: any recommendations for restaurants in downtown Nashville?

Paraphernalia : I'd like to get a hoodie or something while there and assume that the stadium will be over priced. Any good places to get titans gear?

Sightseeing : please recommend any places to see while in Nashville

    Thank you, any advice/info appreciated

Well, you can't sneak in a gun, so you will need to find a more discreet way to put yourself out of your misery. Cyanide pill perhaps? I'm not sure, you would have to ask @Titans Eternal or @520 regarding smuggling.

Best of luck! and sorry about you having to see a game in person!

if you are willing to spend $150 aftermarket you will probably be given a limo ride directly into fatboi Tommy's empty owners suite

Hotel : Hilton next to the Country Music HoF

Tickets: all regular sources should work

Seats: sides don't matter. Nashville is probably the least hostile environment in the league for opposing fans.

Food: What kind of food. Lower Broadway is loaded with sports food and irish pub and BBQ type food troughs..

Paraphernalia : Lower Broadway will have some. Stadium etc. Target and Walmart if you want the cheapo option

Sightseeing : that really depends on the type stuff you're into.
There's enough tourist stuff down by the stadium to fill your day. If you want old south stuff or things like that it's all over as well.

    Thank you, any advice/info appreciated

tickets will be very cheap. Scalpers always have them for sale right outside for cheap if you aren't the "plan-ahead" kinda person.

Like GoT said.. for 150 a ticket... you should be able to get just about whatever seat you want. Just don't buy from the box office.. buy scalped, stubhub, some other resale... because resale will cost about 50% of new ticket value.

Hotels are expensive downtown.. no way around that.

No good place to get gear, IMO. Tennessee Sports Fan in Opry Mills Mall was the premier place.. but they started going downhill once Nike ripped their ability to sell jerseys away.. they're now closed.

Opry mills mall is a good big mall if you're into that kinda thing.
You will want to walk up and down Broadway, downtown, it's cool for visitors. You should go to a Preds game if there's one that weekend.

I've been pretty happy with Seat Geek for finding tickets for away games. Stubhub is also good for finding cheap tickets. Definitely stay away from the Ticketmaster resale site, their fees are definitely the highest.

As for gear, go online. You wont even have to wait until you get here. I've found some pretty good deals lately on Lids.com in their clearance section.

Do ticket prices fluctuate? Are they more expensive when the schedule is released or as it gets closer to the game? Same questions for hotels.
